| According to A&E's website, they will air the first four episodes of Season 1 on September 12th. Elisha Cuthbert gets kidnapped starting in episode 4. Curiously, there's no further listings for 24 beyond Sep 12th., but a regular airing down the road seems likely.

Medium: TV Series Actress: Kate Mara Description: Episode: "Formalities" (5.7) Rich girl Janelle Macklin (Mara) is found dead in the trunk of her car with a scarf stuffed in her mouth and the same material binding her hands behind her back. She's next shown on the autopsy table still bound and gagged. One of the CSIs cuts the binds from her wrists while another pulls the scarf from her mouth. We find out a bit later that she kidnapped herself. This scene shows her tying her stuffing the gag in her mouth and tying her wrists before she manages to place her arms behind her back (looping under her feet). The scenes take place toward the end of the episode. Decent scenes, but darkly lit (in CSI fashion). |

Around the 19' mark, a contestant juggling light rings finds herself suddenly bound and gagged in them in a very brief scene. Her arms are to her sides. A couple of minutes later, she's still in her predicament as the winner is announced. Mostly she's in the background. Another contestant, who I suppose was engaging in a kickboxing demo, is seen likewise with the laces of her gloves tied together, binding her hands in front, along with a third young lady mummied from head to toe in bright blue save for her eyes. |

In the next scene, Kim is suspended arms over head and slowly lowered into a pit of alligators. Her hands are chained with heavy shackles and the chain is hooked over a large crane hook. Kim frees herself by burning through the shackles with her laser watch. |

The scene, just before the ad break, is quick. Shortly after the break, around the 50' mark, Tigh is threatened at gunpoint by a soldier distraught over his superior's actions. There are intercuts, including some closeups, of Ellen struggling and vocalizing. Tigh manages to talk the soldier out of fragging him, and as he's led away, the colonel frees his wife. This second part lasts about two minutes. Ms. Vernon's wearing a chemise top and flouncy skirt with heeled sandals. |

That's why some of the other players' wives have banded together in a crazy scheme to keep his new bride (Velez) away from him during a pennant race. About halfway through, they lash her to a chair in a hotel room with what looks like a white tablecloth, tying her hands behind her with another white cloth and wrap-gagging her with still another. After lifting her from the chair when she feigns fainting, then begins screaming after they briefly pull off the gag, they spend the next few minutes shuffling her in and out of a closet to hide her from a hotel detective attracted by the racket she's putting up. |

This series will apparently be continued by A&E each Monday at the same time, so we can look for the continuation of this (i.e. Episode "4:00am - 5:00am") next Mon, Sept 19 at 8AM, repeated at 2PM. |
