The arch-villain Murdoch has attached an explosive to the car's cable and lit a fuse, so the cable will break and drop her and the car into the shaft when the explosive detonates, unless, of course, Mac can rescue the damsel. An extensive set of scenes lasting the last twenty minutes of the episode. |
