Not another group of people, males and females, in an old house where bad things happen. Yep, it is, but better than some movies in this setting and a great one for bondage scenes although they are, except the final one, very brief. Kris Miller (Laurence) inherits an old creepy house out in the boondocks and ends up there with some of her friends. Into this happy group comes a mysterious stranger (Bruce Payne) who is in reality the Warlock. It seems he has designs on Kris but in order to claim her as a sacrificial victim he must persuade her friends, one by one, to abandon her to his designs. Bad things start happening. About halfway through one of the girls (actress unknown) is found by Kris stretched out, nude, bound and very dead on a table. Later we see one of the couples exercising their bondage interests in their bedroom. The guy is tied arms above with bared back and the Lisa (Boris), in a suitably skimpy outfit, wields a mean-looking whip, or is about to when the Warlock intervenes. The couple end up bound and chained and restrained, the woman is a rather cute and kinky frame. They are tortured until they agree to abandon Kris to her fate. Cutting to the chase, Kris ends up abandoned by all her friends, and nicely tied, arms stretched above her head, to a sacrificial altar. She is clothed and wears boots. Pity, she was barefoot early in the movie. She struggles mightily against the restraints while the bad guy prepares to knife her. Eventually she managed to break free and just in the nick of time finds a hidden doll that has the power to fight the Warlock, or something like that. She walks off free, leaving behind all her dead companions. |

After he blows away a guard, he grabs her scarf and knots her wrist behind her back, then rips her blouse open. After dragging her out of the courthouse, he abandons her, leaving her to stand with her naked breasts exposed to gawking passers-by. Soon after, Rourke and his gang of thugs invade the home of Anthony Hopkins and take his family hostage. Early in the invasion, the daughter (Smith) receives a handgag for nearly three minutes of screen time when a delivery man comes to the door. Some great struggling as the thug keeps her tightly muzzled while she tries maniacally to scream for help. A great handgag scene! |

Record number: 2874 Title: The Perfect Tenant (2000) Medium: Movie Actress: Stacy Hogue Description: Direct-to-video thriller starring Maxwell Caulfield as a psycho who gets revenge on Linda Purl and her family. Hogue plays Purl's teenage daughter, who is suspicious of him. When he catches on, he kidnaps her, handgagging her as he takes her out of the house. When Purl gets a call from Caulfield, she hears Hogue mmmphing over the phone. When she goes to the house Caulfield has her daughter in, she is taken to the kitchen, where Hogue is standing on a table, her hands tied behind her back, her feet tied, and gagged with a huge strip of duct tape. She also has a noose around her neck attached to the ceiling. In the climax of the scene, Caulfield tries to slide the table from under Hogue's feet, and Purl is at the other end of the table. There is a happy ending for Hogue. The whole scene lasts over five minutes, with many nice shots of Hogue, particularly during the climax of the scene. She does plenty of mmmphing, not so much struggling. Great scene, unless you prefer intricate rope work; then skip it. Great video box art too, which has a picture of Hogue's gagged face. Ms. Hogue's feet are clad in only white socks and bound together. This scene should please those who like socks because there are plenty of close-ups as she is attempting to balance herself on the table. The scenes occur in the last half hour. |
