Record number: 12199 Title: Charmed Medium: TV Series Actress: Marnette Patterson Description: Episode: "Engaged And Confused" (8.16) Two demons have kidnapped Christy (Marnette), who is unconscious at the beginning of the scene. She is seen lying down at 20 minutes in, not well lit but a good view of her blindfolded face and, errr,. upper body. Bonds not shown but looks like hands behind and when she wakes and tries to sit up she is knocked back by some sort of invisible force field. At 26 minutes she is seen again, now standing and still blindfolded, hands behind, apparently in an invisible cage. She warns them that they "do not know what they are dealing with" and when they refuse to release her she magically make the ropes disintegrate in flames, the only shot where you can really see her bound hands for a few frames. Then she removes the blindfold, places her hands to her head and projects a fireball that smashes through the invisible wall and incinerates one of the demons. She confronts the other but at that moment is transported back to the sister's house, as a result of a spell they had cast. When asked what happened she says "I was kept in a cage". In short: Damsel bound, but not really in distress once she regains her powers. No gag. Times for a 1 hour broadcast with adverts |

Record number: 2235 Title: The Bone Collector (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Olivia Birkelund Description: Lindsay Rubin (Birkelund) gets kidnapped by the serial killer along with her husband, who's simply shot and buried. At about 18 minutes into the film, she's shown being led through an underground steam tunnel by the masked killer, gagged with duct tape and her wrists in a pair of early-1900s style handcuffs. In a sequence that begins about ten minutes later and continues for about ten minutes more, she's shown several times with her hands cuffed over her head and her ankles roped together, sitting in front of a large steam pipe the killer has opened and swung around towards her, making obvious the fate that awaits her if the police don't decipher the cryptic clues to her whereabouts he's given them in time. |
