Record number: 488 Title: The Big Hit (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: China Chow Description: China Chow (a beautiful eurasian model) is restrained in various ways beginning at around the 32' mark (with commercials). She wears a schoolgirl outfit -- plaid, pleated miniskirt; starched white dress shirt and tie; and cute little white shoes. She is kidnapped by a gang that includes the benevolent Mark Wahlberg. The gang binds her hands behind her with silver handcuffs, and she is handgagged during the initial scene. After this, her ankles are tied with a white towel, and she is cleavegagged with another strip for a ride behind the back seat of an SUV. Mark ends up keeping her at his house in the suburbs. When they arrive, he cuffs her hands in front around a pole in his basement. Later, he moves her to another house, where he tries to keep her hidden from his fiancée and her parents. Her hands are cuffed behind her and her legs are tied, so she hops around the house mmphing through her towel gag in several scenes. Mark finally puts her in the back of his SUV, parked out of the way in the garage. He accidentally conks her on the head with the hatchback as he closes it. While he is otherwise occupied, the family takes it out for a drive, never noticing the unconscious China. When they return, Mark wraps her in a sleeping bag and hides her in the house while the family leaves again. He ungags her, so she can help him cook, and then cuffs her hand to his so she will be more effective. Sparks fly, and they start to make out, when, alarmed by a possibly innocuous comment (this is one amoral story, so who knows) he makes about "something so beautiful having to die" (along those lines, at any rate), she tries to escape. She is bound and gagged as before and thrown into the small trunk of his Firebird. We don't see her again until Mark goes for a car chase in the Firebird. She is released at the end of the chase. |

Record number: 14951 Title: Disappearance of Alice Creed Medium: Movie Actress: Gemma Arterton Description: Early in the film, she's wrestled into the back of a van, already hooded, and her hands cuffed and feet are taped together onscreen. She's spirited to the kidnappers' specially-prepared room, where she is bound spreadeagle to the bed (legs tied with rope, hands cuffed). After she is bound, the kidnappers cut her clothes off her, then after taking pictures of her nude form for the ransom demand, reclothe her in a track suit. The pictures are shown on a computer screen twice a few minutes later. In various scenes she is given water, allowed to use the bathroom (with a bedpan), fed, and untied from the bed to make a ransom video. Throughout the movie she is unhooded, ungagged, re-gagged, and re-hooded. She's uncuffed a couple of times as well. She is knocked unconscious in one scene by cutting off her air, in another by injection. After the latter, her hands are cuffed behind her, she's wrapped in a sheet, and carried to a van. She's taken to another location, where she's cuffed hands apart to an iron gate of some sort and unhooded. She's shown in this position several times, and near the end of the film she's ungagged, bound to the gate trying to reach the keys to her cuffs with her foot. Record number: 1614 Title: Simon Sez (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Natalia Cigliuti, Emma Sjöberg Description: In quite possibly the worst movie made in the 90's, Dennis Rodman (and he's not the worst of it) plays an Interpol agent who gets involved with a "friend" who's trying to return a kidnapee. Ms. Cigliuti is first "rescued" from the supposed kidnapper by Rodman and his irritating sidekick (said "friend"), and is shown in the back of their car unbound but gagged with a potato (baking, not Irish). The potato is held in her mouth by a black cloth. This scene comes in at around 35' in. At approximately the 50' mark, she is grabbed and hustled into a car by the true baddies. About 60' in she's shown gagged and restrained in a more traditional fashion -- tied to a chair and cleavegagged with an attractive yellow patterned scarf. She's next seen being rescued around the 75' mark. Also, in the early part of the movie, Dennis Rodman, while fighting Sjöberg's character in a restaurant, ties her up (literally wraps her up) with a white tablecloth. Her hands appear to be tied behind her back and part of the tablecloth acts as an over-the-mouth gag. There is some mmmphing. |

The bad guys toss her in the back seat of a car. When the FBI agents headed by James Cagney attack, one of the crooks grabs Margaret to use her as a human shield. Not to worry, kids, ol' Jim is a crack shot. Fairly lengthy scene. |

Record number: 15486 Title: Endure Medium: Movie Actress: Clare Kramer, Unknowns Description: Clare Kramer is bound and cleave-gagged throughout this film, starting with the very first scene. Lots of closeups of her with a twisted white cloth gag between her teeth in the first six minutes, and then sporadically throughout the film. She's often covered in sweat and dew, tied to a tree in the Florida woods, arms cuffed above her. There's a great tight closeup of her gagged face in profile, an ant on her cheek, drool running off her lower lip. Also, about 65 minutes into the film, detectives find a wall in the killer's house where the killer has posted 18 different Polaroids of his victims. They're all closeups of the women's faces, and they're all cleave-gagged in the same way Kramer's character is. You don't get good closeups of the pictures, but it's pretty neat anyway. For completists only, there's also a dead victim in the killer's lair shown at about the 58 minute mark. Her wrists are chained separately above her, but she's dead and bloody. One fun note is that the DVD has 12 chapters, and four of those chapters in the DVD menu are illustrated with shots of Kramer gagged, two of them closeups. Finally, the DVD has a short extra that gives us several different shots of Kramer gagged behind the scenes, including a couple of seconds of gag-talking to the director. |
