Record number: 4200 Title: Hercules: The Legendary Journeys Medium: TV Series Actress: Tracy Lindsey, Jennifer Ward-Lealand Description: Episode: "All That Glitters" (2.2) Hercules travels to renew his friendship with King Midas. He discovers that the King has let his love for money go to his head and has entered into a gambling house venture with the beautiful but evil Voluptua (Ward-Lealand). Among the events people wager on are boys walking walking a tightrope over a bed of spikes, brutal boxing matches, etc. Hercules' presence stirs a moral reaction in Midas. No longer willing to lend his name and cooperation to Voluptua's gambling establishment, he quits his post. In return, he is beaten senseless by Voluptua's chief thug and thrown into a cage. When Hercules finds him, Midas is bound and gagged with a crossbow aimed at his head and the trigger mechanism cocked and attached to a small wooden ball in his daughter Flaxen's (Lindsey) mouth. {Yes, very similiar to the scene in The Perils of Sweet Gwendolyne in the Land of Yik-Yak.} Flaxen's wrists are bound tightly behind her back. Voluptua offers Hercules a challenge -- in order to free Midas and Flaxen, he must defeat five adversaries, all before a burning fuse releases the crossbow's trigger. Good triumphs over evil, of course, and Flaxen grabs Voluptua when she tries to flee with a bag of gold. Flaxen crosses Voluptua's wrist behind her back and ties her hands with a scarf, when she starts to rip her dress for more cloth bindings, Hercules scolds her saying, "You promised never to take your clothes off in public again!" Spoilsport. The action starts around 40 minutes into the episode (including commercials) and goes on for the next 15 minutes. Most of the footage follows Hercules and his battle with the thugs, but there are numerous short clips of Flaxen, her bound wrists, the burning fuse, etc., interspersed. The scene of Flaxen binding Voluptua is more suggested than actually visible, but it still counts, IMHO. |

Record number: 15420 Title: CSI: Miami Medium: TV Series Actress: Unknown; Eva LaRue Description: Episode: "About Face" (9.18) The episode opens with Horatio and another CSI standing over the body of a blonde murder victim, who is lying on the floor duct tape gagged. At 4:24, Eva gets a coat thrown over her and is then seen tethered to the floor of a van by her duct-taped wrists, with her ankles also taped, and tape gagged. A quick flash cut of the blonde victim, and they go to commerical. At 9:23 they are back from commercial, and there is a shot of her tethered on the floor of the van, and the best view we get of her gag. 10:57 - the still gagged blonde is now on the autopsy table, and they peel off the tape while discussing the case. 12:05 - Back inside the van, Eva peels off the tape gag and starts to have a conversation with her captor. In between sentences, she starts biting thru the tape around her wrists. Her captor, a convicted sex offender-murderer, explains that he has kidnapped her to force her to help him prove his innocence. 14:10 - More conversation in the van, and more biting at the tape. 20:31 - She actually gets her wrists free, and attacks the driver, crashing the van. There are some more flashbacks at 30:20, and 54:00, but they are very fast cuts. (All listed episode times are from the original network broadcast, including commercials. They will vary for DVD and syndication releases.) |

Scene takes place about five minutes before the end of the episode. |

Record number: 15509 Title: The Ledge (2011) Medium: Movie Actress: Liv Tyler Description: Liv Tyler is tied to a chair semi-naked and ball gagged. She is seated backwards on a high backed wooden chair with her legs inserted between the chair seat and the back of the chair. Her feet are bound with white rope with perhaps four strands (or more) wrapped around her ankles and cinched. Her arms are pulled over the back of the chair and a double strand of rope is tied around her neck, pulled down the back of the chair, under the seat, up the front of the chair and tied off around her waist. It is assumed her arms are tied to this rope, although none of the scenes show the lower arms. Maybe the DVD will have more views. There is one full view from the back that shows the main rope and her tied feet. Most of the views are closeups of the gag, which is a black ball gag on a leather strap. It is pulled back between the teeth and buckled tightly. There is one medium shot which shows her face and the upper part of her arms with the rope running down the front. Most of the shots are a closeup of Liv's face. The scene starts in the last 15 minutes of the movies and is a series of quick flashes (3 to 5 seconds each). The scene is very well lit and the bondage appears to be applied very efficiently. Liv is very docile, with hardly any movement throughout, probably because she is being threatened with a gun. The last shot is the ball gag being unbuckled. An excellent scene overall. |

She and her partner manage to track down the baddie with the artifact who has caused the problem, but Myka finds herself taken hostage by her, and has her hands tied behind her back in the ensuing standoff. The partner manages to KO the bad girl, and uses the artifact to fix the pregnancy problem. Occurs near the end of the episode. |
