Record number: 13122 Title: Captivity (2007) Medium: Movie Actress: Elisha Cuthbert Description: Jennifer (Elisha Cuthbert) is a famous model kidnapped and subject to psychological torture by a pair of serial murderers. She is seen buckled to a dentist chair four times. She has leather straps holding wrists and ankles and her forehead is restrained with another leather strap. In one scene her thighs are also very briefly seen held by a long strap across her lap. She never wears a gag and there is no nudity. The first scene occurs at minute 18. Trusted as described she is forced to watch a tape of another woman bound in a similar manner and showered with acid in her face. She is then made believe that the same fate awaits her but she is just showered with water. Her second ordeal occurs at minute 21. She is again in the chair with her head held by the strap and forced to drink with a funnel a nasty mixture of body parts put in the blender by our psycho maniac. In this scene we get to have a better glance at the heavy leather straps holding her wrists. The third time (minute 39) she has her right hand taped to a gun pointing to her pet poodle which is hold on a cage. She has a gun point at her face and has 30 seconds to choose between killing her dog or being shot dead. Little "fido" is splattered all over his cage. In the final scene (minute 49) she is strapped in the chair but her left wrist and hand are taped tightly to the hand of Gary, the male “prisoner”. She is threatened with having her teeth pull with pliers, but the guy takes the torture instead. She is seen at the end of this scene briefly blindfolded into another room after the ordeal. |

The hacker accosts her after she slips into his house and ties her to a chair, hands behind her back, in his basement, enhancing the symbolism of the scene by using computer cables around her wrists and torso, a flat ribbon cable to strap her head to a board fastened to the chair back, and wide black electrical tape to gag her. Action begins around the last twenty minutes. |
