A cigar is put out in her eye by her captor. The scene is interspersed with Ashley suffering the same ordeal, sans gag. |

Record number: 889 Title: Motel Hell (1980) Medium: Movie Actress: Elaine Joyce, Nina Axelrod Description: About midway through the film, Joyce's character and her boyfriend show up at the title location, mistaking it for a kinky swinger's joint. When the baddies who own it walk in on the couple bearing ropes and masks attached to gas cylinders, the couple invites them to tie them up and give them a shot of the gas. The lead baddie (Rory Calhoun) makes a spectacle of hogtying Joyce, then he and his partner render both her and her boyfriend unconscious with the gas. Near the movie's end, Axelrod falls into Calhoun's clutches, and is tied semiconscious to a conveyor in front of a meat slicer. Soon after the famous climactic chain-saw duel between Calhoun and Axelrod's boyfriend begins, the switch starting the machine is accidentally thrown, and the rest of the fight is intercut with scenes of Axelrod, now awake, screaming and struggling as she inches toward the slicer. |

| There will be action starting at about 65 minutes into the movie where Christina Ricci tries to rescue the kidnapped Rebecca Koon but ends up failing and getting captured herself. This sequence ends a little before the 67 minute mark. The scene resumes at 72 minutes in where both Koon and Ricci are bound and gagged. There will be a 9:00 AM showing for those who have The Movie Channel East. It looks like there will be plenty of chances to catch this scene on The Movie Channel this upcoming week if you miss out on this one. I will post all upcoming alerts shortly. |

Record number: 648 Title: That Darn Cat (1997) Medium: Movie Actress: Christina Ricci, Rebecca Koon Description: At the start of this Disney comedy a matronly woman (Koon) is abducted but we do not see her bound until about 18 minutes in. She is sitting in a chair with her hands tied in front with thin cord (only seen later when she is released) and a number of turns of very thick rope around her torso. She is gagged with a short length of tape. She is seen again at 1 hour 6 minutes and shortly after. The cat of the title finds her and she and fastens her wristwatch as a collar on the cat to summons help. The rest of the film follows the attempts of the Police, assisted by Ricci, to follow the cat and locate her. At about 1 hour 17 minutes Ricci finds her, but is then also captured and we briefly see her similarly tied and gagged (this is a comedy so the cat also gets a gag!). Short scenes, times with adverts in a 1 hour 30 minute broadcast. |
