Record number: 1366 Title: Bridge of Dragons (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Jo Kendall, Valerie Chow, Unknown Description: A Dolph Lundgren vehicle that strangely seems to owe a bit to Titanic. Chow's a princess in a fictional present-day Asian kingdom racked by civil war, who flees an arranged marriage to a repellent general/warlord by leaving one of her attendants (Kendall) on a bed with her hands tied in front with thick red cord and wrap-gagged with a red sash at about 25 minutes. The stood-up groom sends Lundgren to track her down, which he does at about 33 minutes, finding her bagged up in a suspended fishnet in front of five other young women shackled arms-over-head to a wall behind her after they've been captured by bandits. About seven minutes later he handcuffs her after an unsuccessful escape attempt, and takes her to an army camp to await the general's arrival by helicopter. Lundgren's character undergoes a change of heart, however, when he witnesses the general's brutal treatment of the princess after he does show up, and together they flee to join the rebels. The army recaptures them soon afterward, though, and she's forced to bargain for his life by agreeing to the marriage. The princess, of course, has no intention of going through with it, which is why she ties up Kendall's character again the same way as before at about an hour and 18 minutes. This time, Lundgren unties her and rushes upstairs just as Chow is about to do herself in by taking a sip of poisoned wine she meant for the general, who suddenly becomes rather suspicious for some reason. In the movie's final sequence, he drags the princess out to a jeep and roars off, only to have Lundgren jump into the vehicle from an overhead balcony. Both men fall out during the ensuing struggle, leaving the jeep driverless with Chow sitting in the passenger seat. It strikes a barricade of steel drums and turns onto its side, throwing Chow onto the ground beside it under its ejected rear seat, where she lies trapped while the final battle plays out, and while flames from the crash lick towards her. |

Record number: 4134 Title: House of 1000 Corpses (2002) Medium: Movie Actress: Jennifer Jostyn, Erin Daniels, Unknown Description: There is a lot of bondage in this horror movie, though all of the dark, bloody, grizzly variety. There are several very quick shots, beginning about 22 minutes in, of five cheerleaders-played by actresses whose names didn't make the credits-tied somewhat lamely (although it appears at least a couple of them may be wrapped in chains) and cleave-gagged wearing their shredded, dirty uniforms. These would probably make better vidcaps than scenes as they're each only a few seconds long. At about 42 minutes, Jostyn's shown sitting wearing a "Dunce" cap (it's even labled as such), tied with her hands behind her in a chair (the hands are shown briefly) and cleave-gagged while a psycho harrasses her. She does a nice job whimpering, too. Halfway through he takes her gag off. This scene lasts a few minutes. Her face and nose is bloody during this, though. Then at about 50 minutes, Daniels awakens to find herself tied to a bed in an upper-half spreadeagle, ungagged, dressed as a schoolgirl in a short gray outfit with white knee socks and Mary Janes. She, too, whimpers and begs a second psycho to let her go, which he does-only to give Psycho No. 1 a chance to grab her and shove her into a cage. A couple of minutes after that, the nude body of one of the cheerleaders is found in the trunk of the protagonists' abandoned car, ungagged and loosely hogtied in front with words cut into her skin. Another five minutes brings an ultimately unsuccessful rescue attempt, with the cops finding one of the lead girls (apparently Jostyn; she and Daniels strongly resemble one another, and it's hard to tell them apart when only one is on camera, especially this late in the movie when their clothing and hairstyles have changed) standing chained in a standing upper-half spreadeagle, but ungagged, with words cut into her skin. The bodies of several of the other cheerleaders abducted earlier appear bound in the background In the movie's ending sequence a few minutes later, Jostyn, Daniels, and the surviving male protagonist are shown dressed in rabbit outfits (don't ask), tied standing in a group and cleave-gagged. They are then led outside while still in the rabbit outfits with their hands tied lamely in front and still cleave-gagged. Jostyn escapes and comes to a bad end, but Daniels and the guy end up being shoved alive into a coffin and lowered into an abandoned well from which Daniels manages to escape. |
