Record number: 17872 Title: The Mentalist Medium: TV Series Actress: Amanda Righetti Description: Episode: "White As the Driven Snow" (6.15) Grace (Amanda) is kidnapped as part of a plot to get a criminal (Haibach) out of prison. She starts her screen time on a mattress in the basement, untied. She works her way to the hatch keeping her in, but it's locked with a padlock. She can open the hatch enough to loosen the screws on the base of the hatch lock, allowing her to open the hatch and go to the road, where a woman in a truck (Hazel) stops and helps her. Of course, she's in on the plot. She takes Grace to her cabin to use the phone, where she pulls a rifle on her. When next shown, Grace is sitting in a chair and her hands are bound in front with a white ziptie, which Hazel orders her to tighten using her teeth. Grace then talks about her daughter to Hazel. She doesn't care though and says she and Haibach will finally get the attention she deserves. Hazel sees that Grace was trying to escape, so she duct tapes her hands to the armrests of the chair and gags her onscreen with a strip of tape (smoothing it nicely over her mouth). Grace spends the final 20 minutes bound, and the last 10 gagged. |
