Her one scene is spent with her sitting in a chair, handcuffed to each arm of the chair, gagged with black duct tape, and blindfolded with a black cloth, which is removed almost immediately. The scene is over five minutes long, as each member of the terrorist group parades in front of her, explaining who they are and what they do. Plenty of closeups, good amount of mmmphing. Long overdue scene for Melanie. There is a fair amount of guy bondage as well (the terrorists do quite a few takeovers of various places), but there are a couple of handgaggings that involve women. |

Record number: 420 Title: The Adventures of Hajji Baba (1954) Medium: Movie Actress: Laurette Luez, Elaine Stewart, Amanda Blake, many others Description: In this colorful adventure set in Persia during the times of the Caliphs, the beautiful Princess Fazia learns that an escort provided by her intended husband, the evil Nur-el-Din, is waiting for her at a nearby oasis. With the aid of her chief handmaiden Meriam (Luez), she escapes from the palace, but the Caliph's Chief Executioner soon learns of the scheme. At about the 20 minute mark (no commericals), poor Meriam is shown lying on the Princess' bed with her ankles bound with plenty of rope, her wrists apparently tied behind her. One of the executioner's bully boys flogs the girl's feet and after fifteen seconds, Meriam agrees to talk. Meriam is wearing a standard harem girl costume - flowing skirt and bra with plenty of mid-rift showing. This scene is shot entirely from the end and slightly above the bed, essentially from the torturer's viewpoint. Halfway through the film, Princess Fazia (Stewart) finds herself in desperate peril. In the searing desert heat, the lovely and shapely brunette (Stewart) is hung by the wrists with leather straps attached to a horizontal pole by henchman of Banah (Blake), the leader of a gang of the bandit women. She is not gagged. When we first see Fazia's predicament, her toes are supported by a large rock. As she suffers from lack of water her evil rival taunts her, kicks the rock out from under her feet and spins the helpless victim. She is rescued by the title hero (John Derek), but is soon recaptured and strung up again; this time Hajji Baba shares her torment. Both sleeves of her tight, white shirt have been torn away. She's wearing bagging linen pants which billow slightly in the breeze. There's a full body shot that shows she is bound, and tightly and as she spins we see no evidence of a supporting harness - it appears she is really strung up by her wrists. Action starts at the 49 minute mark and lasts on and off for ten minutes when she and the hero are finally rescued. In the meantime (at the 56 minute mark), Banah is captured by the evil sultan and dragged into his presence with her wrists bound. In the background we see a number of her captured followers with their wrists also bound in front. This scene lasts for about a minute. One of Banah's captives informs the sultan of the Princess' predicament and he sends swift rider to affect the rescue. About the 83 minute mark we see Banah and several dozen of her followers with their ankles shackled to a long pole, sweltering on the desert sand. Hajji arranges for their guards to drink drugged wine and, with the aid of a dancing girl, releases and arms the warrior women to battle the sultan's men. This sequence of scenes lasts for about 75 seconds. While the film itself isn't much, the set of bondage scenes make it a true classic. |
