Record number: 866 Title: A Life Less Ordinary (1997) Medium: Movie Actress: Cameron Diaz Description: About 20' in, she's shown being tied to a chair with a strip of cloth about her midriff, right after McGregor has abducted her (partly with her help, see the movie) and driven her to a remote cabin. She's bound to the chair at the arms and legs with more cloth. Around the 62' mark, there's a scene where McGregor, Diaz and the angels/bounty hunters meet for a ransom exchange. He ties her hands in front, and she remains bound for a few minutes. About 99' in (with ads), Ms. Diaz is captured by the bounty hunters her father has sent after her. (They're actually angels sent to earth to bring her and her lover [Ewan McGregor] together, see the movie). She's handgagged briefly during the grab. She is next seen bound to a chair with pretty orange rope, her mouth sealed with nicely-applied duct tape (Prop persons: It can be done), a white cloth blindfold pushed up above her eyes. She mmmmphs and talks through the gag as she plays blackjack (and keeps winning) with the male angel. Later he pulls the blindfold down, and though she's ungagged a little further on, she remains sightless. She ends up bound, blindfolded, but ungagged in the trunk of a car, where she's discovered and released with about ten minutes left in the film. |

Cast includes a number of ex-super heroes & heroines including ex-Superman Dean Cain and damsels Judith Hoag (April O'Neil) and Stacy Haiduk (Lana Lang) - who play the wives of two executives kidnapped to blackmail their husbands (who are on board the plane). Both ladies are now in their late 30's but still looking good. Action starts around the 36 min mark - Judith is pulled from her car in the driveway of her house and shoved into the back of a van. She is wearing dark Jeans, green T-shirt & cardigan and black low heeled ankle boots. No bondage Around the 47min mark, Stacy is attacked in her home by a kidnapper - some struggling and wrestling (no bondage). Stacy is wearing a dark blue tracksuit and white flat heeled casual shoes (like trainers). Around the 1hr00min mark, Close ups of Judith laying on her back on the matress, she hears gag noises and squirms across the floor to a small grate - from where she sees Stacy crying into her gag in the next room. Some close ups of Stacy's face but partially osbscured as these are viewed through the vent from Judith's perspective. Judith then squirms over to a sharp edge on a wall on works off the wrist bonds, ungags herself and unwraps her ankles on-screen. Around the 1hr06min mark, Judith picks the lock on her door with a coat hanger and opens the door of Stacy's room - a brief wide angle shot of Stacy on the floor looking upwards - the only unobscured shot of Stacy getting the full treatment. Aound the 1hr18min mark the ladies make their way downstairs to escape but are discovered Around the 1hr27min mark both ladies are now bound and seated together on a downstairs sofa - hands behind and ankles together with duct tape - but no gags and no shots of their bonds. Around the 1hr30min mark, there are two later shots of them but still no view of their bonds. Done through webcam. Around the 1hr33min mark, the captors leave the room and there are several wider angle shots which show their bound ankles. Stacy begins to work on freeing Judith's wrists Shortly thereafter the ladies are next seen running through the woods in a second escape attempt - but are quickly caught Around the 2hr10min mark, the FBI storm the house and free the damsels - only a brief shot of Judith looking around when she hears the commotion - again laying on her back on the matress in the upstairs bedroom B&G with duct tape as before. No more shots of Stacy B&G. Editor Note: The following was not shown in the US airing.Around the 40 min mark the van pulls up at a remote location and Judith emerges from the van - she is now bound hands behind and gagged - both with silver duct tape. She is led into the house and her captor is instructed to "take her upstairs and wrap her tight". She is then thrown onto her back on a matress on the floor of an upstairs bedroom and her ankles are bound with duct tape on screen while she struggles. Good close ups of her gagged face. |

Record number: 169 Title: Big Trouble in Little China (1986) aka John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China Medium: Movie Actress: Suzee Pai, Kim Cattrall Description: Ms. Pai is shown tied down to a bed and cleavegagged with a thick piece of terry cloth at around the 30' mark (no commercials). There are several nice close-ups. As she is about to be wisked away by the demon, we can see that Ms. Pai's shoes have been removed during her captivity. There is a close up of her bound stocking feet when the demon cuts the rope that ties them to the bottom of the bed. Around the 50' mark, Ms. Cattrall is shown in a cage laying on her stomach in a strict hogtie. She is also very tightly cleave-gagged with black cloth. Her hands are bound behind her back, and her ankles are tied together. A rope extends from her ankles over her left shoulder, around her neck, then back over her right shoulder and down to her bound hands, putting her in a hogtie. After she is rescued by Kurt Russell, she flees the warehouse with her gag still in place. No mention of Ms. Cattrall's hogtie or why she is the only one tied up in the audio commentary track While the others drive away from the warehouse, Gracie (Kim Cattrall) is again grabbed by Lo-Pan in beast-form, and gets placed with her wrists slapped in chains bolted to the floor. |
