Record number: 8350 Title: The Nevadan (1950) Medium: Movie Actress: Dorothy Malone Description: Dorothy Malone has her wrists bound to her saddlehorn by one of her captors. While riding, she makes a break from him, and escapes. Shortly after she's shown being released from her bonds. The version I've seen (on TNT) never shows her gagged, but Allen Marburger's listings mention one, with the caveat that this may be missing from "prints shown on the airwaves". I'm not certain whether the gagged imagery was cut from the sequence described above, or wholly separate from it. My old notes have what I saw coming in around the 65' mark, but I'm unsure if that refers to a two-hour airing. In any event it's not early in the film. Update: I saw an AMC airing today (5/16/03) that had no gagged scene as well; at least not as part of the above sequence. If the film began on time, what was shown came in around the 75' mark (without commercials - around the 57' mark). From Marburger's description, I'd have to assume there was just the one sequence, during part of which Ms. Malone was gagged, as he describes her being bound on horseback as detailed above. |

Record number: 11528 Title: Stargate SG-1 aka Stargåte SG-1 aka Stargate: SG-1 Medium: TV Series Actress: Amanda Tapping Description: Episode: "Fire and Water" (1.12) For the bulk of this episode, SG-1 is convinced that Daniel Jackson is dead, having been killed on an alien planet. Eventually, they start to realize their memories have been tampered with. Sam (Amanda) undergoes hypnosis, & remembers the entire team being abducted by a fish-man alien dude. There are brief flashbacks of closeups of Sam (& the SG-1 fellas) with their heads pinned to a headrest by clear plastic straps across the forehead & chin. Sam (& the others) have a dazed expression, but she *is* remembering it happened, so I guess she *was* conscious, & that makes it a "sleepy" scene. :-) Later, we see the apparatus in use on Daniel, and learn it has wrist & ankle restraints, but (unfortunately) all we see of Sam is the way-too-brief closeup of her beautiful face. Did I mention she's dripping wet? :-) |

There is a fight scene that lasts about a minute before she gets pistolwhipped and knocked out. When she regains consciousness ("0:38 in), you see her tied to a chair, wrists overhead to a hook. Cleave gagged with a black cloth (onscreen). The promo still for this scene shows her ankles tied to the chair legs, but you don't see this in the video. The scene is interrupted a few times by the resucers going through the warehouse looking for them, but there is still about a minute and a half of screen time. Times without commercials. |

| Tonight's episode (1.06) is the one with the "future predator" and the... HANNAH SPEARRITT HAND-GAG! I don't have the time, but look for the scene where she's wearing a red polo-shirt, jeans, and Wellingtons (rubber boots), and is working at animal park. The hand-gag happens in the tunnel of the aquarium (seal enclosure, whatever). It's pretty good for a hand-gag, 'cause she's taken *completely* by surprise by a guy she kinda has the hots for. Also, it goes on for several seconds while the predator stalks around looking ugly (and hungry). |
