| Title: The Diary Of Ellen Rimbauer (2003) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Lisa Brenner, unknown Description: About half an hour in, with commercials, the title character (Brenner) wakes up in bed to find her husband tying her hands and bare feet to the four bedposts. She tries to protest but he rips her gown open and starts to drip water from an ice cube onto her upper torso. (This is a network TV movie, so there is no nudity seen; in fact, Ellen remains largely covered by the bedclothes throughout.) About twenty minutes later, in a very brief scene, Ellen sees a girl (a ghost, actually) dangling by her shackled wrists from chains fastened to the ceiling, her bare feet not touching the ground. It's first implied she is naked but she then appears for a split second apparently garbed in a white gown. |

| Title: Hostel: Part II (2007) Medium: Movie Actress: Heather Matarazzo, Lauren German, Bijou Phillips, Karen Davidsen, Tereza Mandic-Listikova Description: At the 46:30 mark, The first girl captured, Loran (Heather Matazzaro),is ambushed with a sack over her head, then knocked out with a blow. She waked up hanging upside down, chained by her bare feet. She's completely naked with a cloth gag in her mouth. There are numerous closeups of her face and upper half as well as one of her hands which have been chained behind her back and one which pans down the chain she's suspended from to her bare feet. Also one full length shot at the start of the scene. An incredible scene but unfortunately she meets a very grisly end. At the one hour mark, there's a group bondage scene with a several girls (Karen Davidsen, Tereza Mandic-Listikova, and Bijou Phillips) tied up, hands behind, and cleave gagged. Davidsen and Mandic-Listikova are the producer's assistants by the way. Bijou is taken out of the cell & cuffed to a beautician's chair, still cleave gagged, and an old make-up woman begins to clean her up a bit & starts to paint her nails. After being ungagged, Bijou then bites the tip of the woman's nose off (!), grabs the keys to the cuffs, & escapes. She is recaptured shortly after. At the 1:11:00 mark, Laura German is shown chained to a chair & hooded. The hood is removed & we see her cleave gagged with a white cloth. This scene alternates with scenes of Bijou cuffed to her own chair in another part of the house with a cloth sack over her head, wearing a racy outfit. When the bag comes off we see that she's been gagged with a black ballgag. Then the scene goes back to Laura. Her gag is removed and she almost succeeds in talking her way out of the situation, only to be knocked out. We are now at around the 1:15:50 mark. More scenes of Bijou, still secured to her chair & ballgagged. She is injured with a circular saw cutting into her head but apparently survives (we see her bandaged up later on, bonds removed). After Bijou's scene ends, we see Lauren has been regagged & re-chained to the chair, at around the 1:19:30 mark. Her bondage scene ends at around the 1:22:45 mark. |

| Title: The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Milla Jovovich Description: Beginning about two hours in, she's shown numerous times during her captivity and trial with her wrists in heavy shackles, sometimes being led around and secured to dungeon walls by two chains attached to them. On some other occasions she's shown standing with her wrists held out in front as the chains are held by guards standing on either side of her. The burning scene at the very end of the movie is rather non-explicit, compared to other versions. Jovovich is shown in a couple of quick head-and-shoulders shots as the flames rise around her, intercut with a couple of shots of her bare feet with a length of chain wrapped around her ankles to hold them to the stake. |

| Times have changed. You young whipper-snappers are very lucky. There is a show or movie with a scene on everyday. When I was your age, I had to wait weeks for a scene and had no way to record it. I had to take a polaroid picture of the television scene. Oh well, I'm going to listen to my 8-track cassette player, drink a Tab and stare at my Farrah Fawcett poster. Title: Spider-Man 2 (2004) aka Spiderman 2 aka The Amazing Spider-Man Medium: Movie Actress: Kirsten Dunst Description: At the climax of the movie Dr. Octopus has kidnapped Mary Jane (the lovely Kirsten Dunst). We see her tied up with rope, her arms stretched over head and wrapped by a heavy chain around her torso and her legs. When a magnetic field is created by Dr. Octopus' mad experiment she is pulled off the ground (because of the chains) and we see her being stretched horizontally (as if she were on a torture rack). Lots of screaming until Spiderman saves her from death. On Disc 2 of the two-DVD set, there is a fascinating segment titled "Enter the Web" which features the shooting of the climactic scenes shown from multiple angles. It's revealed that Dunst was suspended both vertically and horizontally during the bondage sequence, and the filmmakers didn't resort to using a stunt double. |
