In the last ten minutes, Rebecca (Kramer) is at her home conversing with Kathleen (Allison McAtee), a bunnyboiling personal trainer who, unbeknown to Rebecca, has been making life hell for the latter's husband. When Rebecca turns her back, Kathleen knocks her out with a fire iron. She soon wakes up and finds herself sitting on a chair in the kitchen, hands tied securely behind the backrest with thick rope. The ladies have a little talk of the unfriendly variety, which culminates in Kathleen using a white dishcloth (with a knot in the middle) to cleave gag Rebecca; very tightly and onscreen. Next, an investigating police detective pays a visit and falls into a trap set up by Kathleen, getting stabbed in the back just as he discovers Rebecca frantically mmpphhing, still in the kitchen as before. Offscreen, Rebecca is moved into a closet to be hidden so that when her husband returns home, Allison attempts to set up what looks like a murder-suicide. Awakening from unconsciousness again, Rebecca mmpphhs and grunts nicely as she struggles to get her hands free of the ropes. Eventually she does so, onscreen, which enables her to attack Allison and start a chase around the house. Her husband (also earlier knocked out) finally manages to shoot Allison. She fakes her own kidnapping, but is found out by her husband. Angry, she stalks out of the bridge game the Ricardos and Mertzes were playing. Sitting in the hallway, the real burglars stumble upon her, hand gag her, and after a struggle, drag her into the basement. After the commercial break, the card players hear a pounding at the door. It's Lucy, sporting a white cloth cleave gag with her ankles bound and her arms tied to her side. She banging on the door with her head. When Ricky stands up to remove the gag, Fred says, "Careful Ricky, do you know what you're doing?" Ricky removes the cloth, and Lucy 'splains how she was tied up by the real burglars. Nobody believes her and she spends the remaining 15 seconds of the episode still bound, hopping from one of the card players to another trying to convince them of her sincerity. Record number: 16769 Title: Deadly Spa (2013) aka Zephyr Springs Medium: Movie Actress: Tracey Fairaway; Amy Pietz Description: Absurd movie with daughter (Tracey) dragging her mom (Amy) to a desert spa, which doubles as the lair of a crazed cult leader. At approx 80 minutes into the movie (basic cable version, including commercials), Tracey decides to leave, but is chloroformed as she walks out the door. She is then set up for a brainwashing session by being tied to a post, hands behind her back, with another rope around her neck. She endures some bad dialog from the cult leader, and then is left to be bombarded with flashing lights and loud noises. Amy goes looking for her missing daughter, and eventually finds the shed which doubles as a prison. She manages to cut Tracey free, but is immediately captured herself as Tracey runs away. Amy is then put into the back of the cult leader’s van, with her wrists tied in front of her, and is gagged with a white cloth cleave. After driving around for awhile, they manage to actually find Tracey, and after a bit more chloroform, she gets dumped in the back of the van also, sans restraints. Cult leader then drives to some kind of abandoned building, where the apparently dozing Tracey is left in the van, while the bound and gagged Amy is dragged inside. He takes his time as he ties her sitting against a post, which gives Tracey time to wake up and grab a bow and arrow. She flashes the van’s lights and honks the horn, which brings the cult leader out of the building, so that she can put an arrow into his shoulder. He runs back inside so that he can grab Amy, and use her as a shield. Some silly action ensues, which finally results in Amy being freed by Tracey. The action is as silly and as badly directed as it sounds, but the gag for Amy is long overdue. The ropework on the restraints is a joke, and the tightness of the gag varies with the camera angle. It’s never particularly tight, but it is photogenic in many of the shots.
