At 35mins, the L&O duo enter a nursery which is being held up at gunpoint by disgruntled mother Marla (Morris), who has a gripe against the staff there. In another room, nursery workers Janine (Keating) and Miss Chestnut (Anzelmo) are shown sitting on chairs; they are tied back-to-back with white jump rope around their waists, hands by their sides and wrists bound together, feet tied together, and each cleave gagged with a thick scarf (check pattern for Janine, pale blue for Chestnut). The scene lasts about 6mins, but neither damsel makes a sound nor struggles. We get a good variety of full-body views and close-ups, although these are intermittent amidst the tense dialogue. Marla threatens to shoot herself towards the end of the scene, but Detective Goren eventually convinces her to give herself up. Both damsels are then ungagged onscreen, while Marla is led away with her hands cuffed behind her back (not visible). Times based on a Universal HD broadcast without commercials. Tags: F/F |
