Maria, however, doesn't want to be rescued. Since the adventurers are professionals, they are honor bound to complete the contract, no matter what the cost. When Maria refuses to return, our heros reverse kidnap her. She's spirited out of the bandittos camp with her wrists tied behind her back, and remains bound for an extended period, as she is hoisted onto a railroad car, then a locomotive and finally as a human shield. |

| Gabrielle is snatched by cannibals, is wounded, and put in a shed with a putz.
Just After the 10:29 commercial, the cannibs enter the shack to tend to G's wound (spoiled meat, you know). The ointment stings, thus necessitating a Major Hand Gag. About five minutes later, the cannibs decide to cook lunch, aka Gaby. They take her and tie her to a spit and begin slathering her with mud...there are cutaways showing Xena on the way to rescue. Finally the moment we were waiting for arrives, and in goes the Kazoo (thanks to Van)gag. Next is the Long Commercial Break that most shows have at the :30 mark, but on Xena on ch 56 it's usually about the :40 mark. The commercials go for approx four minutes, then it's back to the action, with a nice cu of Gaby and her Kazoo. Then Xena arrives and cannibal butts get kicked. |

Agent 99 is working undercover at a store (or some kind of stamp or coupon redemption center?) which was really a KAOS front, and ends up tied to a surfboard and placed on a conveyor belt. It was a pretty long scene in which, IMR, Feldon actually hits one of the baddies with the surfboard while tied to it. IMHO, it was one of the better non gag scenes that I have viewed. |
