She is grabbed from a restaurant where she's on a date with Bruce Wayne. She's seen a little later bound to a chair with red ribbon and OTM gagged. Harley removes the gag, only to stuff it in Lois' mouth when she disses Mr. J. This leads up to yet another suspension scene (This series, as does WB's BATMAN, has numerous suspension scenes ... someone knew their melodrama, or was just one of us), with Lois dangling from the ceiling, again bound with red ribbon tied in a neat bow and OTMed with white cloth. Part 3 has Mercy Graves, Luthor's aide, tapegagged and taped to a giant crablike machine thingie. The comic novel of this three-part story includes versions of these two sequences as well. |
