Title: The X-Files Medium: TV Series Actress: Gillian Anderson Description: Episode: "Orison" (1999) In the last fifteen minutes or so of this sequel to "Irresistible", Scully (Anderson) is grabbed in her house by the escaped serial killer from the previous episode. Wearing pajamas and fuzzy slippers, she's thrown to the floor and has her hands bound behind her with what appears to be a scarf (the sequence, for the most part is verydark and it's often hard to see what's going on) and is then hand-gagged before the camera cuts away. When it comes back to her, the killer is dragging her, now rather tightly cleave-gagged with a thin cloth strip, into a closet, from which she escapes by turning the doorknob with her bound hands. Then she slithers along the floor, occasionally pausing to hide from the killer as he passes through the room. Eventually she manages to slip her hands over her feet (a brief shot of her ankles suggests they aren't bound) to bring them in front. ___________________ @1:05am CFTO Title: Intensity (1997) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Molly Parker Description: This is a 4-hour, 2-part made-for-TV movie. In a sequence that starts just after the beginning of the second part, Parker's character is shown chained and strapped to a chair, from which she escapes by breaking it apart, ultimately by throwing herself down a flight of stairs. She is ungagged throughout the sequence. _____________________ @2:50am CITY Title: Under Siege 2: Dark Territory Medium: Movie Actress: Brenda Bakke, Katherine Heigl Description: Brenda Bakke is tied to a chair with her hands on the armrests. Katherine Heigl is attached with handcuffs, later she is seen standing with her wrists handcuffed in front, a noose around her neck and a hand grenade in her hand. She is inside a runaway train car. The scene occur approx. 10 minutes before the end of the movie. |

Record number: 1614 Title: Simon Sez Medium: Movie Actress: Natalia Cigliuti, Emma Sjöberg Description: In quite possibly one of the worst movies made in the 90's, Dennis Rodman (and he's not the worst of it) plays an Interpol agent who gets involved with a "friend" who's trying to return a kidnapee. Ms. Cigliuti is first "rescued" from the supposed kidnapper by Rodman and his irritating sidekick (said "friend"), and is shown in the back of their car unbound but gagged with a potato (baking, not Irish). The potato is held in her mouth by a black cloth. This scene comes in at around 35' in. At approximately the 50' mark, she is grabbed and hustled into a car by the true baddies. About 60' in she's shown gagged and restrained in a more traditional fashion -- tied to a chair and cleavegagged with an attractive yellow patterned scarf. She's next seen being rescued around the 75' mark. Also, in the early part of the movie, Dennis Rodman, while fighting Sjöberg's character in a restaurant, ties her up (literally wraps her up) with a white tablecloth. Her hands appear to be tied behind her back and part of the tablecloth acts as an over-the-mouth gag. There is some mmmphing. |

Later the bad guy captures them, deciding to untie her and try to kill them both. |

"Many Happy Returns" This episode featured not one, but two, sacrifice scenes, and a handgag for good measure Admittedly, they could've been better done. The virgin (I want to say Katie Stuart, but a search just brought up the child actor) is wrapped somewhat loosely in gauzy material, with some covering her nose and mouth, and is saved by Xena at the beginning of the program She's handgagged at around 40' in, and seen again readied for her fate a few minutes later ... this time wrapped as before, but chained to a slab for good measure If anyone can ID the actor, I'll stick this in the DB |
