| In an episode entitled The Wiving, a farmer orders his three sons to go to town and not return without prospective brides. Unlucky at the bar, these desperate losers resort to kidnapping some female entertainers from the saloon. They use cloth OTM gags and load the ladies onto a wagon for transport. Nice scene, broken up by one commercial break. Occurs in the first 20 minutes, right after the guys get thrown out of the bar and get a talkin' to from Marshall Matt Dillon. |

Record number: 257 Title: Red Sun (1971) Medium: Movie Actress: Ursula Andress Description: Just over an hour into the movie, she and a male companion ride off with Charles Bronson and company on horses, with their hands tied in front to the saddles and gagged with classic, white, over-the-hair detective gags -- a classic of genre, IMHO. Ms. Andress' black cowboy hat enhances the view. There are a couple of isolated shots of her with some good mmphing. About 15 minutes later, she's grabbed by Indians who tie her hands behind her and lace a water-soaked rawhide thong around her neck, which will shrink and strangle her if Bronson & Co. don't come out of hiding and rescue her in time. |

When they pull her out she is covered in dirt and her hands are bound in front with dried up duct tape. Around the 25' mark there's a very quick flashback to her being handgagged. A slightly longer (in relative terms -- still quite brief) flashback of this occurs around the 45' mark. A cute scene takes place in the last halfhour, when Gil & Catherine are in the hall talking and Sara (Ms. Fox) pops out on nowhere and asks Gil to "Come tape me up". After a quick "I love my job" they cut to a scene of him taping her wrists in front. |
