There is a brief close-up of a female extra screaming as the flames rise around her. The final part of this sequence features Kerr led out into the arena and bound to a stake to serve as a target for a bull that will be allowed to kill her if it gets past a male wrestler. Her Roman-tribune boyfriend (Robert Taylor) is shackled to another pole next to Nero and his wife in the stands, and the sequence is intercut with scenes of him struggling to free himself, making it somewhat difficult to edit. |

Typical weird Pedro Almodovar scene. _____________ @10:35pm Family (Rogers ch 51) Title: Beetlejuice (1988) Medium: Movie Actress: Winona Ryder, Geena Davis, Catherine O'Hara Description: Ms. Davis has her mouth zipped up, literally, and then has a metal plate riveted over it by Betelgeuse with around twenty minutes left (with commercials). Also, Ms. O'Hara is grabbed by her own many-armed sculpture, given life by the aforementioned Mr. B shortly before the above scene; and Ms. Ryder is handgagged by the same malefactor in an attempt at unholy wedlock just before same. |

| Replay of Earlier Show - First story is about a guy who poses as a cop to get a girl into his car. Then, he cuffs her, and keeps her prisoner in a closet, clad only in a bra and panties. He intends to train her as a sex slave. Plenty of good scenes, including a closeup of her tied to a chair, scanning from bare feet on up. She escapes in the end, but it is a great story. |
