Record number: 488 Title: The Big Hit (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: China Chow Description: China Chow (a beautiful eurasian model) is restrained in various ways for the last hour of this movie. She wears a schoolgirl outfit -- plaid, pleated miniskirt; starched white dress shirt and tie; and cute little white shoes. She is kidnapped by a gang that includes the benevolent Mark Wahlberg. The gang binds her hands behind her with silver handcuffs, and she is handgagged during the initial call-the-father scene. After this scene, her ankles are tied with pieces from a white towel, and she is gagged with a piece of white tape for a ride behind the back seat of a Cherokee. Mark ends up keeping her at his house in the suburbs. When they arrive, he cuffs her hands in front around a pole in his basement and cleave gags her with a piece of white towel. Later, he moves her to another house, where he tries to keep her hidden from his fiance and her parents. Her hands are cuffed behind her and her legs are tied, so she hops around the house mmphing through her towel gag in several scenes. Mark finally knocks her out and throws her in the back of his Cherokee, parked out of the way in the garage. While he is otherwise occupied, the family takes the Cherokee out for a drive, never noticing the unconscious China. When they return, Mark wraps her in a sleeping bag and hides her in the house while the family leaves again. He ungags her, so she can help him cook, and then cuffs her hand to his so she will be more effective. Sparks fly, and they start to make out, when, in an abrupt change of heart, she tries to escape. She is bound and gagged as before and thrown into the small trunk of his Firebird. We don't see her again until Mark goes for a car chase in the Firebird. She is released at the end of the chase. -- Sweeney |

| Mary Cherry wants Sam to write a book about her and when Sam refuses to be held captive in the bathroom, writing
without any breaks, Mary Cherry pulls out a roll of duct tape! This occurs around the 20' mark. A few minutes later, we see that her arms have been bound to her upper body (her hands are left free to type), her legs roped to the base of the large circular seat she's on, and there's a strip of duct tape sealing her lips. She's ungagged rather quickly, but remains bound until the last ten minutes or so. |
