Title: Belle de Jour (1967) Medium: Movie Actress: Catherine Deneuve Description: She plays a bored wife who drifts into prostitution, and as a result of her guilt, is shown imagining herself being punished by her husband in her dreams. In the first such episode, at the beginning of the film, she is driven out into the country by her husband, then forced out of the car and marched toward the woods, while her hands are being tied and she's being wrap-gagged with a scarf. Her hands are tied over her head to a branch and the gag is pulled down, along with her blouse in back, and at her husband's behest, two men proceed to horsewhip her. In the second scene, she's shown standing with her wrists tied to a railing-one up, one down, like a statue-in a white dress, while her husband and another man throw mud on her and call her names. In the final scene, her husband and another man, each holding a pistol, stand back to back and start pacing away as if they are dueling, but when they stop, they turn toward the camera and fire. The camera then quickly pans around to show Deneuve standing tied to a tree, blood dripping from a head wound. @4:00am WTN (Women's TV) Title: Criminal Behavior (1992) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Farrah Fawcett Description: I seem to recall Farrah Fawcett having her hands cuffed behind her for a brief period. My guess for the scene time is at some point between the 40' and 80' marks, but I'm not taking wagers. @10:00am ShowC Title: Counterstrike Medium: TV Series Actress: Sophie Michaud, Cyrielle Claire, 2 unknowns Description: Episode: I Remember It Well Sophie is bound hands behind/together at the wrists, with another woman bound hands behind, on a bed. Lots of writhing as they try to escape. Later, they are recaptured, and tied to chairs, hands behind, chest ropes too. This time, they are tied up seperate from one another. The last scene has two more damsels join them in a cellar. Sophie and 2, bound hands behind, ankles together. The other damsel has her hands bound in front, to a post, about eye level. No gags. There is a bound ankles hopping scene, as they try to escape again. |

| In the first two minutes of the episode, Syd Hansen (Melina Kanakaredes) has a dream in which she's chained to some railroad tracks with a train heading straight for her. The scene is in black and white and is done in silent movie fashion. She tries to get her (dead) mother to untie her but she refuses. She's rescued in the nick of time by her boyfriend.
Don't think there was a gag. My local station clipped the first 20 seconds of the show the first time this episode aired. But I'm 99% sure no gag was present. This is in the very first part of the show, BEFORE the opening credits. |

Record number: 4370 Title: Lexx (aka Lexx: The Series) Medium: TV Series Actress: Xenia Seeberg Description: Episode: "Battle" (3.10) In the first few minutes, Xev (Ms. Seeberg) is handgagged while sleeping. Next there are quick shots of her ankles and wrists bound with what appear to be rubber straps, one of which is used to OTM gag her (she's seen gagged very briefly). She is placed in something akin to a body bag and more straps are wrapped around it, including around the area of her mouth. She's next shown aboard a balloon with her ankles and legs still bound, and her hands now tied over her head. A hood is quickly removed, and we see she's been ungagged. She is handgagged briefly at some point when she tries to yell for help. After the halfway mark she is cut down and the rope that was holding her bound hands raised above her is now wrapped around her waist. She is flung overboard and is suspended in the air over a sea. The rope is cut, and she falls into the water, to be rescued by Kai. Once she's safely in the boys' balloon, the restraints are removed. The action ends around the 40' mark. |
