Robin (character Kitty), sitting on stairs behind her asks: "What makes you think I am not just going to run away?". Then a 3 second clip of Robin having been tied to a small metal chair, wrists tied to the sides of the chair with white rope, ropes around waist and upper thighs. Her legs are otherwise left free, allowing her to get up and walk around. No gag. About 5 minutes later, after "Claire" has escaped an attempt to execute her.(by shooting two bad guys who forced her to dig her own grave), we see Robin still tied, trying to open a door by pressing down the handle with her mouth. Hearing someone coming, she tiptoes out of the frame. Final scene, one crook has arrived, searching the apartment, another enters and places a suitcase with money on a table and leaves. Crook nr. one says "sucker" and shortly thereafter opens a closet door, finds Robin and cuts the ropes, freeing her. Robin wears a narrow semi-transparent dress and high heels. |

One of the best spreadeagles on screen. Most broadcast-TV and basic-cable editions of this film delete this scene in its entirety, but some broadcast late at night show a short, heavily edited version which emphasizes the tying of Kinski's wrists and ankles, but includes neither any full-figure shots of her nor an explicit depiction of the sex. Both are present in abundance, of course, in the premium-cable version. |

He chloroforms Alicia from behind while she's on the phone, the carries her over-the-shoulder to hiscar. She is tied in a sitting position to a small makeshift cross behind her. When the hero and Ms. Lathi chase the villain to an abandoned amusement park, she is also grabbed from behind and carried to the place where her daughter is. He ties her hands behind her to a catwalk railing. There are several shots of her bound wrists as she struggles, ultimately successfully, to free herself. No gags but plenty of struggling and screaming. Action starts approximately 20 minutes before the end. |

Record number: 866 Title: A Life Less Ordinary (1997) Medium: Movie Actress: Cameron Diaz Description: About 20' in, she's shown being tied to a chair with a strip of cloth about her midriff, right after McGregor has abducted her (partly with her help, see the movie) and driven her to a remote cabin. She's bound to the chair at the arms and legs with more cloth. Around the 62' mark, there's a scene where McGregor, Diaz and the angels/bounty hunters meet for a ransom exchange. He ties her hands in front, and she remains bound for a few minutes. About 99' in (with ads), Ms. Diaz is captured by the bounty hunters her father has sent after her. (They're actually angels sent to earth to bring her and her lover [Ewan McGregor] together, see the movie). She's handgagged briefly during the grab. She is next seen bound to a chair with pretty orange rope, her mouth sealed with nicely-applied duct tape (Prop persons: It can be done), a white cloth blindfold pushed up above her eyes. She mmmmphs and talks through the gag as she plays blackjack (and keeps winning) with the male angel. Later he pulls the blindfold down, and though she's ungagged a little further on, she remains sightless. She ends up bound, blindfolded, but ungagged in the trunk of a car, where she's discovered and released with about ten minutes left in the film. |
