Record number: 862 Title: Fear (1996) Medium: Movie Actress: Reese Witherspoon, Amy Brenneman Description: 86 minutes in, during the climactic scene, Ms. Brenneman's character and her husband are captured by their daughter's crazy ex-boyfriend. Both are handcuffed behind the back and gagged with duct tape. Brenneman's gagging and part of her binding occur onscreen. The bad news is that there's more husband gaggage than wife gaggage; the good news is that the bad guy carries the husband off eventually, leaving us with a few nice shots of Brenneman by herself. (She is saved by her son, who brings her the key to the cuffs in a sequence which is implied but not shown.) Earlier, at the 71-minute mark, the daughter (played by Ms. Witherspoon) is cornered in a bathroom stall, handgagged and fondled by her ex-boyfriend. Scene goes on for over a minute. |

Record number: 287 Title: This Gun For Hire (1942) Medium: Movie Actress: Veronica Lake Description: The bondage sequence begins with a fade-in of Ms. Lake, in a dark dress and heels, lying unconscious on a sofa as one of the baddies finishes knotting her white overgag. Her hands are tied behind her back, and there's several loops of rope around her arms and upper body, below her breasts and around her waist, knees and ankles, with one strand running from the torso ropes to her knee restraints. Later, Alan Ladd finds her in the back of a closet, and carries her to a bed, where he ungags her. My notes have a start time of around the 42' mark. I believe that's without ads. I'm not sure if there's any grabbing scene preceding the above. |
