Record number: 15621 Title: Kaboom (2010) Medium: Movie Actress: Kelly Lynch; Juno Temple Description: Bizarre movie which seems to have been inspired by somebody's bad acid trip. The only redeeming quality starts approx. 75 minutes into the movie. The hero, who is the son of a cult leader, finds that his mother (Kelly Lynch) has been kidnapped by the cult. He finds her in a closet, tied hand and foot and gagged with duct tape. While he is searching for her, his half-sister is chlorophormed from behind and carried off. As he finds Kelly in the closet, he too is chloro'ed by the cult members. He and Kelly are then carried out to a van, where Juno is a already sitting tied and duct tape gagged. The hero is tied but not gagged, and talks to the cult members as they drive off into the night, and the gagged women listen. Juno manages to cut the ropes on her wrists as the kidnappers are distracted. As they reach the desert, one of the kidnappers goes back to ungag the women, but the now free Juno kicks his ass. Rescuers catch up to the van as the fight continues in the back, until everybody ends up driving off a closed bridge, and the cult leader blows up the planet - end of movie. Like I said, must have been inspired by a bad acid trip. Still, some nice closeups of both Kelly and Juno wearing the duct tape gags. Also the end credits showed Lynch in the closet with her name. |

Record number: 13863 Title: Death Bell (2008) aka Gosa Medium: TV Movie Actress: Nam Gyu-ri Description: This is a 2008 Korean movie, not yet listed in the IMDB. It partakes of the ugly trend of torture porn. This one set in a high school were a deranged father whose daughter was raped and killed seeks revenge on the students killing several of them in very gruesome manner. Yet, there is a nice scene at the climax of the movie of the girl that gets to survive the clutches of the killer. Ina (played by Korean singer Nam Gyu-ri) is seen tied in a chair with her hands tied to the arms of the chair and her ankles bound to the legs of the chair. Rope across her chest and arms pinned her to the back of the chair. She wears a tight cleave gag. She moans in fear with a tearful face as the killer gives a “psycho speech” over the school sound system. Later on she tips over the chair and remains there until the female school teacher comes to her rescue. Her “mmmppphhs” are heard over the loudspeakers. Another scene (that barely qualifies for the DB) has a girl (unknown) hanging upside down from the ceiling bound with rope by one of her ankles, but no other bindings or gag. The other students must decipher the riddle else she will die. Unfortunately the classmates do not solve it in time to save her. |

Close-up onscreen gagging with tape. The villain has drawn lips on the gag. Several close-ups of a worried Drew while the baddie calls Charlie. Just before the tape is ripped off, Mr. Meanie kisses her sealed mouth. During the opening titles there is a 10 second clip of all the angels doing their take of the "Angels In Chains" episode. |

Her one scene is spent with her sitting in a chair, handcuffed to each arm of the chair, gagged with black duct tape, and blindfolded with a black cloth, which is removed almost immediately. The scene is over five minutes long, as each member of the terrorist group parades in front of her, explaining who they are and what they do. Plenty of closeups, good amount of mmmphing. Long overdue scene for Melanie. There is a fair amount of guy bondage as well (the terrorists do quite a few takeovers of various places), but there are a couple of handgaggings that involve women. |

Record number: 1925 Title: Bonanza Medium: TV Series Actress: Tina Louise Description: Episode: "Desperate Passage" (9.8) Ms. Louise is shown bound hand (behind) and foot, and gagged with a stick gag, lying on the ground in a tent at around the 39' mark. The scene lasts about fifteen seconds as her rescuers sneak into the tent. Caveat: Neither a PAX (in which the scene came in about 45' in) nor a TV LAND airing showed anything else. If it shows elsewhere, you might check to see if there are any other shots of her in the tent before the rescue. We all know about cuts made from original airings. |
