| Hope to see Erika get a classic silver/gray duct tape gag at some point on this show. She was gagged with black tape in How To Rob a Bank and I've wanted to see her gagged with the classic silver for a long time. The show is set in 1982 and I'm pretty sure gray/silver duct tape existed then, certainly a possibility. |

| Show on FXX, had them going to a house of horrors. They had a blonde with a duct tape wrap around cleave gag, with a tarantula on her shoulder. It's not one of the main characters. |

Funny, I used to have a friend who was an aspiring actress....mostly plays & things, a few indy films & I think even a bit part or two on a major show. I remember her telling me once that she actually turned down a part because it required her to be bound & gagged. She said she didn't mind being tied up, but she didn't want to be gagged, not that she had a fear of it or anything like that, but that she would be too embarrassed or humiliated for anyone, like her family, to see her gagged. And there was nothing sexual at all about the part if I recall....just a simple "tied to a chair & gagged, with a bomb set to go off" or something like that (I'm paraphrasing, it was like 20 years ago!...but you get the point!) She even asked the director if she could be just tied up & not gagged but he said no & she did not get the part. I did not really want to ask too many details & seem "too interested" in the gag issue, I think I kinda shrugged or something & probably said "that sucks" or something similar! I guess funny how some ladies are apparently embarrassed by that, even to the point of forfeiting a part in a film, and others freely post pics of themselves gagged on twitter & facebook and kind of are a good sport about it & "run with the joke". I've no idea what ever happened to her, if she ever "made it" as an actress or what, but that story always stuck in my mind! |

A few might, but most actresses I run across with regards to this find it more fun or odd then sexy. They might post it just because it's different than you are used to seeing, much like them posting pics in special effects makeup, or unique costuming. Of course, many are aware of this certain type of people who will get off on it, but also they know that bare feet, or swimsuit, or smoking can illicit the same effects on other people. It's usually not a big deal to them unless it is really violent or really kinky. At that point, it does become something for them to think about, but same as if they were doing a nude scene, or a dangerous stunt. But one thing I can definitely tell you, after being on Brian's Page for many years. Contrary to popular belief, just because an actress has had a bunch of DiD scenes, does NOT mean she enjoys it. It is a part of the job. When we held auditions for a role in a film I directed, I included the damsel scene in the sides (i.e. the portion of the script be read at the audition) so the ladies auditioning were aware that being restrained was part of the role. That way, if they were opposed to being tied up, they can just skip the audition. What WAS interesting was how some of them handle that part of the script in their auditions. Some held their hands behind their back while reading, some handgagged themselves. Some just made a few grunts. But most (at least the more dedicated actresses) really "mmmppphhhed" it up. In short, all actresses handle it different, but as long as it is done professionally on the set, it is not a big deal. If it is easy and not a big deal, they are likely more happy about posting pics. |
