Preempted due to football overrun.

Does anyone know the episode title? I recorded what I thought was the episode in question ("Truth Lies and Consequence") but when I watched it there was no such scene at the end, so must have been wrong episode.

However, it looks like all the episodes that have shown so far are airing next Saturday (Dec. 5), so another chance to catch it

First time I've seen that. That game did take forever.

Hey, did this scene pan out? If so, anyone know which episode? I set the DVR to record all the episodes & I have like 5 or 6 recorded but didn't really want to scan thru each one for the scene if someone knows where it is (if there was one). Thanks!

It's listed in the database.

Beginning of Episode 2 (gag), and the end of Episode 7 (no gag). Don't bother watching the crap in-between, since the series ended on a cliff-hanger, and its unlikely to ever get a resolution.

All due to the "Heidi" rule from 1967--

A game between the New York Jets and Oakland Raiders was interrupted when NBC switched to show the movie "Heidi," prompting the NBC switchboard to be FLOODED with angry calls from football fans, even though they ran updates at the bottom of the screen. Since that day, networks have kept football games on until they conclude.

*Just for anyone who doesn't know the rule* -- Apology for hijacking the thread. :)

Apology again--the 'Heidi' game was in 1968.

There actually is an episode 8 available on iTunes which presumably tied the loose ends, but it's a major ripoff as it's only available if you order the full season.

Judging from the rest of the series, there's no way it could possibly be worth paying for - at any price.

Yes and no. CBS actually built in overrun time and had
scheduled CSI to start at 9:30 Central, but the game went
so long that they ended up skipping it. This is a
reverse problem for people like me who had scheduled
the DVR to record the news, as it started 30 minutes
earlier than the cable programming guide indicated.

These days they don't cut off the end of NFL because
that's highly-rated programming and overrun scores
better ratings than normal programming.

Expendables (2000)
Not to be confused with the Stallone vehicle of the same name. I've been informed that this obscure made-for-TV film has a scene with a group of female soldiers bound and gagged.

Has anyone seen it that can confirm? It's not in the database.
