| Title: Der Verehrer (2002) aka Charlotte Link: Der Verehrer aka The Admirer Medium: Movie Serial Actress: Mareike Carrière aka Mareike Carriere, Johanna Klante Description: German film series based on the crime books by author Charlotte Link. Lydia (Carrière) is grabbed and handgagged at her home at 1hr 11mins. Within a minute she is shown very securely bound to a chair with rope and gagged with a tan-coloured bandaid. Her hands are tied in front and pinned against her lap, thighs tied together and to the seat, arms and waist tied against the backrest, and feet to chair legs. Great helpless expressions. She is later discovered by neighbours and police at 1hr 20mins, mmpphhing loudly and having tipped her chair over onto the kitchen floor. Several close-ups and full-body views. In a minor scene at 1hr 17-18mins, the very cute Carolin (Klante) is given a prolonged handgag by Lydia's assailant. Nothing else comes of this and she is let go. |

| December 7th, the series Telenovela (NBC) starring Eva Longoria will begin a 11 episode run. Making fun of Spanish soap opera cliché's , this would seem to be a no brainer for several B&G scenes.... |
