I remember this scene well, it happened in late August 1987. Her and her boyfriend were tied to chairs, they get loose, get caught right after getting untied, the goons tie the putz back up and then make "Jennifer" get dressed in a Teddy and then they tie her up again but this time I believe she is sitting on the bed. That's all I saw of this scene. It probably went more extensive than that but I didn't get to see it. |

It seems everytime I get stephanie ozenig (that DOOL actress) in a sexy outfit and tied, they change her into something not sexy before we get some decent angles. AND IT WAS HALLOWEEN OUTFITS TOO! Even if they get tied again in the future, they'll probably be wearing pants. Why couldn't they at least gag them? |

Pity, real pity... I agree completely. It was setting up to be a scene for the ages. Loved one of the villains carrying the first victim in her hot schoolgirl outfit right through a group of mom-supervised trick or treaters after he had chloroed her. And the second scene was great too as he pretended to wipe something off the girl's face in order to get the cloth up to her lips. After the heroine was taken I was on the edge of my chair hoping for a classic payoff. And then DiDaster. Like watching your football team march down the field and then fumble on the one yard line. Lame bonds and the dropcloths over everyone. Hell I wouldn't even have minded the guy being in there if they'd just done the rest of it right or at least halfway decent. Your explanation as to why no costumes is probably correct. But there seems to be a law these days that if an attractive woman is going to be tied up, she can't be tied tightly, it's best if she isn't gagged, and she shouldn't be wearing any clothing which could be considered sexy. If the networks don't want to do it properly, they shouldn't even try. It's like the "Kinda" swearing they let characters do - "frig," etc. Just pitiful and lame. This made the mild "Charlie's" scenes look like ten best evers. |

Maybe in terms of context (drama vs. comedy): In the first season of Chuck Yvonne Strahovsky(sp?) received a sexy full treatment: She was dressed in a sexy top and tight pants, was sweaty, AOH, and a tape gag ("Chuck vs the helicopter" I believe). Very hot but quick pan up her body to settle on a closeup of her emoting to Chuck. |

Haven't been following this show but was there a rule that all witches (on this show at least) can only be killed in 'witches garb'? Continuity-wise that scene made no sense: From what little I could tell the villains wanted to kill witches because of their power. Logic dictates to kill as soon as possible even if 'ceremony' is necessary, so why go thru the time and trouble to dress them first? Also, don't these witches use incantations? Why weren't they GAGGED? Serves two purposes that way: Limits their power and prevents them from distracting the villains from killing them. I point this out because on past shows and films I've seen with a similar theme the witch (or sacrifice) was usually bound and gagged either in their own clothing or stripped down/changed into something skimpy. The illogic of that scene jumped out at me, then I realized judging from their difference in makeup it had to have been shot out of sequence and they wanted to save time and expense by forgoing their costumes. |

This reminds me of the episode of Smallville in which Erica Durance is kidnapped by a dastardly villain who not only straps her down to an operating table of some sort, but also has her wearing some sexy two-piece outfit, a glittering sportsbra and hot shorts ensemble. I was perplexed as to how he happened to have such a sexy outfit available for a female captive to wear, and in her size, no less! |
