Tuesday October 18 07:57:59 2011 Coronation Street - Helen Flanagan |
VERY good news for DiD fans in the UK. Quote from the link: "Rosie tells the estate agent that she'll meet the prospective buyer at the flat. When she arrives, she's horrified to find herself face-to-face with John Stape! He binds and gags Rosie, explaining that he needs her to attend Fiz's trial and put forward his version of events so Fiz gets off." I, for one, can't wait for this! Especially since we're guaranteed an HD cap of these episodes, too. I've wanted Rosie Webster to get the treatment for yeeeeeears (even though she has that annoying short hair now). Plus, whenever Coronation Street has had a scene, they've always been pretty good: Georgia Taylor in 1998, Tina O'Brien in 2003, Shobna Gulati in 2004, and Alison King in 2010. |

Hot damn, another UK alert! I can't seem to post a link to the Daily Mail article where the pic came from (malformed string error), but the scene details are on the alternative link below: |

I was getting a bit jealous of our North American brethren with their ever-regular soaps & Telenovela scenes (the former of which seem to be kinda dime-a-dozen IMO), whereas any scene in the UK is comparatively quite a rarity. Check it out! |

Don't think anyone has yet mentioned "Il Vicino De Casa" or "La Porta Sul Buio" the 1973 Italian TV movie with Laura Belli and her screen husband tied and gagged by their neighbour. A great scene not least because in a reversal of the usual cliche the guy lays there passively (or possibly unconcious) while the girl strugggles to escape and raise the alarm Title: Il Vicino di Casa (1973) aka The Neighbor Medium: TV Movie Actress: Laura Belli Description: So-so Italian TV movie has a wonderful ten minute bondage sequence for the climax. Seems that a young couple, one of whom is a beautiful brunette with forever legs, suspects their next-door neighbor has dispatched his wife. The killer suspects that the couple suspects, so makes a preemptive strike, knocking out the husband whereupon the young lady conveniently faints. When she recovers from her swoon she sees that both she and her husband (who is still down for the count) are bound hand and foot and detective gagged with white cloths. Out in the garden she hears the ominous sounds of the killer digging ye olde shallow grave. A resourceful type, our damsel scooches over to the door, kicks it shut and, after several unsuccessful attempts, manages to stand and lock the door. The killer is pretty resourceful himself; he simply smashes through the window and secures our heroine in a hogtie. (OK, it's a loose hogtie.) Anywho, she struggles wildly while the killer drags her husband out to the garden grave, but in vain. The killer returns and tosses her over the shoulder and carries her outside, while she shrieks as best she can through the gag. |

Another one for British viewers, BBC3's supernatural series has a scene for Sophie Wu - who plays the heroes girlfriend - in tomorrow night's episode, as best i can tell from the fleeting view in the trailer strung up by her wrists and cleave gagged. Putz alert, but it's also possible she's not the only damsel, Lily Loveless plays the heroes twin and i think she might get snatched as well |

I got a pleasant surprise when I visited my local internet voting registration site. Presumably the image is on the equivalent site for all counties in the UK. |

Is the actress with the short brunette hair with her hands tied behind her the one who plays Rosie? |

She was shot in the leg. She is a captive again. Her hands and feet are bound. There are good shots of her bare feet. However, the gag was not put back on. The preview for the next episode does not show her. |
