Tomb Raider trailer
The Tomb Raider movie trailer just dropped. Hard to say if all 3 scenes in the game make the movie, but there is a hands in front scene for Alicia Vikander.

Noticed that as well. Knocked out and wakes up with hands tied in front.

Re: Tomb Raider trailer
Alicia Vikander will undoubtedly get a full treatment scene sooner or later. It just won't be in a Tomb Raider film

The Main Villain from the game is in the Movie and the Ritual scene is an important event in the movie so lets hope that the White OTM gag scene still existed for the woman whoever who replaces Samantha

Also the hands in front scene looks like it will be the equivalent of the attempted rape scene of the game , the difference is She had her hand tied behind in the game

From what I can tell, samantha is not in the movie. She's been replaced by an asian male character. A lot of the characters in the game seem to have been removed from the movie. I'm thinking DiD wise this will be disappointing, but here's hoping.

Why are women always being kidnapped in films?
A female writer sounds off on this topic.

She mentions some films and DIDs in them of interest, probably all well known to DIDoids...

I would like two minutes for rebuttal... (and a virtual gag for her)

Re: Why are women always being kidnapped in films?
Remember reading that article four years ago. The writer would be incensed that in 2017 nothing's changed and film plots are even worse in her eyes. She'd just be loving Better Watch Out etc LOL

Here's another, more detailed article: "Damsels In Distress: 15 Actresses Who Always Find Themselves Kidnapped On Screen"

This has the names of 15 well-known DID-oriented actresses with a few photos and film references also. It may be that not all BPers have seen all of these actresses and scenes.

So...what do audiences want to see? 1) a fight and 2) a B&G girl -- so why not finish so many Lifetime Movies and action shows with both -- a fight OVER a B&G girl?

Yes, the formula draws audiences -- mainstream and otherwise.

"No thriller seemed complete without at least one scene of a woman flanked by menacing heavies, or tied to a chair, or sobbing into a phone being held to her face by her kidnapper..."

Two great phone scenes (Quigley, Alt) were with female captors

Re: Why are women always being kidnapped in films?
Ummmm...because most script-writers are male and distress drives plots and action especially in the Thriller & Horror film genres. And ummmm...coz we like to see it( we are terrible, terrible people ;) )

Dark Harvest
The movie with a tape gag scene for Chelsey Reist opens worldwide in January, according to the film's Facebook page.

The picture is from Reist's Instagram (@ChelseyReist).

Re: Why are women always being kidnapped in films?
In the article listing 15 actresses frequently in distress it mentions that before she found fame Cameron Diaz starred in soft core bondage films. Really?!? I knew she had some very mild fetishy pics taken during her early modelling career but films(a la Harmony Concepts etc), that's news to me. How many did she make, what were they called, and where do I see them?

Teen wolf
Has there been anything for Shelley Hennig is these new episodes? Even a handgag? Cause the finale airs on the 24th and I'm wondering if the new season is worth skimming through.

Re: Dark Harvest
Cool this film is finally getting released, Chelsea's gorgeous and we can add her tape gag scene to her cleave in The 100. Speaking of long-delayed films whatever happened to The Pineville Heist? That had a great-looking scene with a well-cleave-gagged blonde hottie. Still unreleased presumably?
