| So I'm interested in finding some good suggestions for books I can get on Kindle from Amazon that suit our interests (bondage, damsel in distress, pesky detective, snooping reporter, et al). I've gotten several of the Don Ship Super Heroine books but I'm kind of burned out on the repetition of them all (Oh my God! I've been TAMED!!!) Any suggestions? |

| Announcing my new (and hopefully improved) DVR alerts! Turns out Google Sheets doesn't handle automatically generated spreadsheets very well, so I've converted my two-week DVR alerts to a simple HTML table, and Anubis has generously offered to host. Should be a lot fewer issues this way. You can't currently sort the new table by different fields, but I never got the impression that people were doing that anyway. If I'm wrong about that, maybe I can scare up some Javascript to handle it at some point. Let me know if you spot any problems. In particular, the alert tool tries to show scenes with gags in bold. It does this by parsing the DB entry for particular phrases, and it's smarter about this than it used to be, but I'm still expecting occasional false positives and false negatives. Please me know if you run into these, so I can continue fine-tuning the algorithm. Brian, would you kindly update the URL that you're adding to the alert forum on my behalf? |
