Mainstream scenes as relaxation/meditation?
This may be an odd question, I don't know. But can anyone think of mainstream scenes in which the damsel is tied up NOT because she's been kidnapped or is a prisoner, but because it's consensual and she finds bondage relaxing or meditative?

I can't think of any scenes like that so I figured I should ask the experts...

I think this is along those lines:

Record number: 156

Here’s a couple of scenes from the database.

Record number: 1681

Title: St. Elsewhere
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Jean Bruce Scott

Description: Episode: "Ties That Bind" (2.1)

Roberta (Scott) picks up Dr. Ehrlich (Ed Begley, Jr.) in a laundromat, takes her back to her apartment, strips to her underies and more or less demands him to tie her to her bed for some frisky goings on. Dr. Ehrlich ties her arms and one leg to the bed posts, but runs out of rope. When he goes to his car for more, he manages to lock himself out of her place before they could, ah, come to grips. Cute scene.
Record number: 14095

Title: Desperate Housewives
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Eva Longoria

Description: Episode: "A Spark. To Pierce the Dark" (5.18)

Gabrielle (Longoria) is in the mood for sex, but Carlos is not. Under the pretense of spicing things up, he ties Gabrielle's wrists upper spreadeagle to the headboard of their bed. Just as she thinks things are about to get steamy, he simply ups and leaves the house; much to her annoyance. She is wearing a sexy black teddy. This happens about half way through the episode. Short, lighthearted scene.

Bound and gagged in heavy wind
Any scenes like this, where there is a lot of heavy wind or in some high-speed situation resulting in the damsel's hair flying around?

As we all know, bondage scenarios in mainstream entertainment can run the gamut from gut-wrenchingly horrific to gut-bustingly hilarious and everything in between. Obviously, bondage scenes in comedy movies and TV shows are intentionally played for laughs. As for bondage in dramatic situations, I don’t believe that any laughing on the part of the audience is done with any malicious motivation or intent. The chuckling you hear is simply the nervous laughter resulting from being momentarily caught off-guard, momentarily taken aback (“Oh, the girl’s been tied up. Ha, ha. I didn’t see that coming. Not that I’m complaining, mind you.”). Keep in mind also that more nervous laughter will result when you’re in a movie theater full of strangers than when you are home alone or with one or two friends.
The way I see it, when a bondage scene comes on the screen, have a good chuckle and enjoy the glorious sight.

Re: "the snowman" with michael fassbender and rebecca ferguson
Gotta love that snowbound Scandi-Noir setting:). Looks excellent, with an extremely high chance of multiple damsel scenes, especially the exquisite Rebecca Ferguson who totally needs a full treatment scene. Been a great fan of her since her fine performance in The White Queen few years back. Could be a surprise little gem as the year rounds out

Hells Yeah Rebecca Ferguson! Hope she gets a scene I don't care if it's a darkly-lit blinkie shot from a bad camera angle I'll still take it. Well maybe not too darkly-lit ;)

Power Rangers Ninja Steel
Found a spoiler for episode 16 of this series that had already been aired in Spain. The english episode will likely air next month. Chrysti Ane who plays the pink ranger had her hands tied behind her back and also sporting an otm gag. Finally a scene for a female ranger after such a long time

If Rebecca's character is using herself as "bait" for The Snowman...well we all know how that usually ends in tv and movie thriller-land... Trailer was cool. Definitely a pleasant surprise hope it pans out bigtime

Not a huge fan of the over the nose gags, but hell...she is easily one of the hottest pink rangers that's ever been on that show. She is beyond gorgeous.

Hopefully, she'll face the camera but those breasts are even more impressive in that pink top.

Stephanie Corneliussen's scenes in Mr. Robot. As the actress herself said in an interview about her character's predicament, "I think that’s her relinquishing that control. That’s her escape. Some people go to the spa. Joanna gets tied up."

From the site, Today, Spain dropped Episode 15 of Power Rangers Ninja Steel on Neox Kidz, a Spanish TV station which airs morning blocks of children’s programming.

Spain is currently scheduled to receive new episodes every Saturday and Sunday. As always, international airing patterns tend to be much more fluid, so the schedule is subject to change at any moment.

So, according to this, Episode 15 aired last Sunday. Episode 16 would air this Sunday. I'm trying to find a schedule to Neox Kids, but no luck to confirm.

The XMLTV listings grabbers for Spain aren't working for me right now, but the Neox website does list the show for Saturday and Sunday (no episode information).

U.S. airdate should be October 7.

I've made a post on Rob's page, so those who want to watch the film (and is a really good horror comedy even without the DiD) unspoilt can.

Thanks for that Steve. Sounds like it'll be the indisputable scene of the year, at least for me. Can't wait for its release.

I have a slightly different take on this, and came about upon trying to analyze my own facination. I think it's the humiliation aspect. This factor I believe is what people find humourous as in the film you spoke of, but it can also be something very erotic. My favourite damsels now are the smart, sassy ones who as smart as they may be, wind up in a compromising situation and feel humiliated as a result, while the villian or villianess gloats and is bemused by it all; 'Bye Eva! Too bad you can't come to the party tonight, I'll just say that you're all tied up!!'

A Simple Favor
Looks like this upcoming thriller could potentially yield something for Blake Lively. She plays a character who disappears and these set photos (http://celebritiesinleather.blogspot.com/2017/09/blake-lively-on-set-of-simple-favor.html) show her filming a scene where she looks rather beaten up, possibly as a result of her captivity? No guarantee of course but it sure would be awesome if Blake had a good full treatment scene in this. It's based on a novel of the same name, no idea if the novel has a B&G scene, but fingers are crossed something comes out of this film.

Considering there so many years of Power Rangers I'm surprised this has happened more often with some of the other ones. Biggest disappoint for me personally was the Power Rangers in Space when the Yellow ranger got kidnapped but only got tied to a tree and the pink ranger actually got the treatment but it was dark and blink and you miss it. I actually want to see the English version of this when it releases.
