Paula
Episode 2 of new drama series Paula was shown on Irish TV yesterday, and had two short scenes of a woman tied hands in front, feet tied and gagged. First gag was fabric otm with stuffing, second was tape wraparound (just once, I think) with stuffing. Both times ungagged onscreen. Her neck is a bit bloody in one scene, and she's made up to be a bit scruffy (maybe supposed to be a drug addict or something). Fairly realistic scenes.

In the second scene, as a bonus, the cop who comes to rescue her has to wrestle the villain's (quite attractive) wife to the ground and cuff her hands behind her back when she attacks him.

Later in the episode, said cop is having dinner at a restaurant with Paula (later 30s, quite attractive), who has some interesting dialogue about her childhood activities. She tells a story about being choked until she passed out by a male friend (consensually), and also implies that she was into tie-up games.

Just after this, Paula gets up to go to the bathroom and is attacked and handgagged by a guy in a balaclava.

Same episode will show on BBC this evening.

Re: Paula
Paula definitely has potential. Has been compared to The Fall, gritty Northern Ireland drama etc. The Fall, albeit very bleak, started well had some good scenes in Season 1 but then nothing in Seasons 2 and 3 which was disappointing. Uk dramas can produce excellent scenes e.g. Happy Valley few years back so hopefully Paula will deliver

Re: Paula
Can anyone give timings for these scenes, I skipped through the program a few times and saw nothing of interest

Fargo Next Week
At the end of Wednesday's episode, Nikki (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) appears to have been kidnapped off of a prison bus.

A clip from next week reveals she is not on the bus.

Three episodes are left this season so we probably see something next week.

Be on the lookout for previews.

Re: Fargo Next Week
Mary Elizabeth Winstead!! Fingers & toes crossed with this. She gets hotter every year. I remember her great scene in Wolf Lake but when was that, 15 years ago? Fargo has been a great tv series but hasn't had a great F/T scene yet. So really hope this pays off bigtime

Re: Fargo Next Week
If Mary Elizabeth gets a great full treatment scene on Fargo for one or two episodes while hapless Ewan Mcgregor tries to rescue her it'll automatically be scene of the year for me. Cleave gag, tape gag, wraparound tape gag...anything but as long as this Goddess gets SOMETHING. This show had to deliver eventually...please :)

Re: Fargo Next Week
MEW kidnapped? Here's damn well hoping. Nice tight knotted cleave would be insanely hot for the Most Beautiful Cheerleader Ever(see Deathproof). Plus we got cheated of a FT scene for her in 10 Cloverfield Lane....

Her spot in this series already is a winner with her bare ass scene a few weeks back.

Re: Fargo Next Week
MEW did have that scene in Faults a few years ago....but it was marred by the hands-in-front lameness, ridiculously shitty lighting, and complete lack of emoting (all she did was lie there in the van). Can't these North American and UK scenes ever have some god-damn lights switched on.?!

Directed by her husband, too. *sigh* Married to MEW and can't tie for shit. What a waste. Not surprised they split recently. I like to think she got sick of his dont-know-shit-about-bondage ways

Re: Fargo Next Week
The Faults scene was terrible, barely worth mentioning. The Wolf Lake one was pretty good - her 18 year old self with glasses...anyhow we've seen her taped - now it's time for a cleave indeed. Fargo is the perfect vehicle for good DiD action they should have had scenes in the first two seasons already so really hope this season doesn't disappoint. Or be too brief like Miranda Otto's 24 scene. The original Fargo film back in the Nineties had that frustrating kidnap plot where the lady was clearly gagged but had that bag on her head the entire scene:(

LMN premieres
New TV movies premiere tonight and Friday on Lifetime Movie Network.

The "Girlfriend Killer" premieres tonight at 8pm ET. Promo shows the daughter played by Taylor Castro gets kidnapped, is in a chair with her hands tied behind her with rope. Promo suggests she is tape-gagged though that isn't shown, you just hear duct tape ripped as the guy approaches her.

Two other premieres on Friday night. In "The Wrong Bed: Naked Pursuit," Jewel Staite wakes up in bed handcuffed to guy with no idea how she get there. Probably nothing else though synopsis does say she and the guy's lives are in danger.

It is followed by "Deadly Secrets by the Lake." Promo for that one shows a tape-gagged blonde.

Potentially good news is the head writer who has produced by far the most b&g scenes in recent years is taking over "Days of Our Lives," which also corresponds with Alison Sweeney's return to the show. Unfortunately, they film so far ahead that his stuff won't start airing until fall.

He was head writer the last 5 years or so of "One Life to Live" and for 3 years at General Hospital, and under his pen we got two gag scenes for Kristen Alderson, a scene with Kassie DePaiva, Florencia Lozano & Susan Haskell together, Melissa Fumero, Meghann Fahy, long scene with Kelley Missal & Florencia Lozano together, Hillary B Smith, Bree Williamson, and Melissa Archer; and at "General Hospital": Julie Berman and Kelly Monaco together, Kelly Sullivan, Lynn Herring, Genie Francis, long scene for Laura Wright, Kristen Storms and Emme Rylan together, Vinessa Antoine, 2 scenes for Brytni Sarpy and Teresa Castillo.

Bounciest damsels?
Was recently appreciating how Helene Merlin's valiant struggling in Poison d'avril contributed to some very lovely 'jiggling' as she hopped around in her chair.

I'm drawing a bit of a blank though, trying to think of other scenes with similar appeal?

To tamper down on some of the enthusiasm, the man coming after her is there to kill her, not abduct her. She's missing most likely because she will be on the run from the killer.

Melanie Good (the first DiD) in "Die Watching" (1993).
Unfortunately, a bad end for her.
