Wednesday June 14 08:48:27 2017 Empowered |
Empowered Vol.10 will be hitting bookshelves soon. The continuing misadventures of our gorgeous curvy bondage-prone superheroine. Each new installment is to be savored, not just for the DiD content but for its witty well written storylines. Adam Warren has created a wonderful self-contained universe with great depth and brilliant at times moving characterisation. As complete a universe as Star Wars or Firefly. It absolutely deserves film or tv adaptation. Maybe an anime-style animation series which could illustrate the epic scope of some of the battles and mega-villains. HBO or Showtime would be able to produce a live-action version or even The Sci-fi Channel. Seeing as bondage is an integral part of Emp's character any show or film would be a dream come true. But which actress could play Emp? A bootylicious blonde with a Bardot pout. Melissa Benoist possibly? Someone curvier like Alice Eve? Adam Warren himself thinks Maika Monroe from It Follows would be ideal. Anya Taylor-Joy perhaps? |
Wednesday June 14 09:00:14 2017 Re: Empowered |
Alice Eve is a good call. That girl is seriously hot she'd wear Emp's painted on supersuit wonderfully. Plus Alice needs a serious F/T scene bigtime. Twenty five years ago they'd be thinking Pammy Anderson as Emp lol. All about the derriere with Emp tho;) |
Wednesday June 14 09:38:37 2017 Re: Empowered |
I often imagine Kaley Cuoco in that role. |

Wednesday June 14 09:44:50 2017 Re: Empowered |
Kaley Cuoco would have the right tongue-in-cheek attitude for Emp. And a damn fine butt if her "leaked" photos are indeed of her |
Wednesday June 14 09:46:48 2017 Re: Empowered |
Margot Robbie as Emp?!? Ooh La La :) |
Wednesday June 14 12:11:53 2017 Any details on that Mummy scene? |
I was just curious if anyone had seen the Sofia Boutella scene from the new Mummy film. How long did we see her fully wrapped, was there much mmphing? |

Anna Faris. Plenty hot, plenty talented, and absolutely the right comic sensibility for the role. (You don't have to believe me on the basis of the "Scary Movie"s...go watch her in "Smiley Face" etc.) |

Wednesday June 14 15:53:29 2017 Main stream mummification |
how many cool main stream mummification is there , I did do a search on the site and a lot seems to be animated but I was wondering how many live shows have good mummification scenes ? one the best ones that comes to mind is the Honey we Shrunk the children tv show where the main villian got mummified in chrsitmas wrappings and they gag her with a don't open will xmas sticker when she mouths off . |
Wednesday June 14 15:54:04 2017 Wallander |
Definitely one of the best f/f scenes |
Wednesday June 14 17:16:00 2017 Taylor Schilling quote |
In another article about the "Orange is the New Black" scene Taylor Schilling said: "I'm now a pro at knowing how much powder you need on duct tape so it doesn't hurt when it gets ripped off." |
Wednesday June 14 17:51:15 2017 Re: Empowered |
Anna Faris would be perfect. Spot on Raffish :). You forget how gorgeous she is as well as goofy. Can totally see her in Emp's suit and mask. And tied 'n gagged? Heaven. Apparently we're getting two volumes of Empowered this year as Vol.10 ends on a game-changing cliffhanger. Been years since we've had two volumes in the same year Mr Warren is on fire! Plus the Deluxe Compilation of Volumes 7-9 too. The Deluxes are the ultimate collectable. A Great Empowered Year :) |

Wednesday June 14 18:36:16 2017 Re: Empowered |
Two volumes out this year? That's great news. Sorry Wonder Woman et al but Emp is the hottest female superhero of all time. And also the most believable and sympathetic. After all she goes through each volume and the crap she puts up with you just want to give her a hug. But the bondage! Adam Warren feigns indifference but he knows his stuff the way Emp's arms are usually bound shibari-style etc. Best gags ever too. Those big knotted cleaves between her full lips are mind-blowing visually and he does a mean duct wraparound too. Not to mention f/f action. Her scenes with bondage-obsessed catgirl Ocelotina are beyond sexy so hopefully the latter will pop up again soon to bind and spank Emp etc ;). They totally gotta make a movie |
Wednesday June 14 18:47:04 2017 Re: Empowered |
I figure Emp to be around 25 to 30 age-wise so probably a younger actress. Margot Robbie would look divine but there are the models-cum-actresses too e.g. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Cara Delevigne, Suki Waterhouse...damn I wanna see a movie so bad too. Maybe Guillermo Del Toro could direct it he does epic well all his giant Lovecraftian beasties and giant robots in Hellboy and Pacific Rim. Empowered is too good a story not to film and in this post 50 Shades world people can deal with the bondage. Especially if it's tongue-in-cheek like the Sixties Batman. VALE Adam West too btw |

Someday. Too sexy and silly for it to be otherwise. |

Wednesday June 14 18:53:38 2017 Re: Empowered |
Emma Stone. Right age. Can sing, dance, be comedic. Those freckles(sigh...). Plus is gorgeous as a blonde too. Her as Gwen Stacy in that schoolgirl outfit in Spiderman? Image is permanently seared on my brain :) |

Raffish wrote: > Someday. Too sexy and silly for it to be otherwise. I'd never seen this cover before. I love how it's spoofing (and directly referencing, in its text) the insanely sexy cover to Spider-Woman #6 (original series), which plainly, and wonderfully, pandered to those with our interests. |

Wednesday June 14 18:59:30 2017 Re: Empowered |
Have no doubts a film or tv version will eventuate. It'd be something new and fresh and it's just too damn good. Something that can make you laugh out loud one minute and have you bawling your eyes out the next is a rare and special thing indeed. And the bondage aspects? No problem. Look at the Lifetime melodramas of the week. The bondage is almost a prerequisite. Makes us watch em too ;) |
Wednesday June 14 19:10:57 2017 Re: Empowered |
Dare I say it? Scarlett Johansson. Curves in all the right places. Imagine her as Sexy-Librarian-Trope Emp(my personal favorite). I rest my case Your Honor |
Wednesday June 14 19:30:13 2017 Re: Empowered |
Anna Faris would be perfect but I think is a bit too old for Emp (unless aging the character and could be interesting). So I think Emma Stone would be good. And Felicity Jones as Ninjette :) |
Wednesday June 14 19:37:38 2017 Re: Empowered |
So many good suggestions. Just watched a few talk show clips to sanity-check myself and will throw Emilia Clarke's name into the ring. |

Wednesday June 14 19:48:36 2017 Re: Empowered |
I discovered Empowered about six years after its inception(must've been living under a rock or something ha). The upside to that was I could enjoy seven volumes at once so was basically in heaven for several weeks. So waiting for months or years for each new volume since my initial binge has been hard but always worth the wait. It cannot be understated how great Empowered is, how well-written. The humor and pathos in equal measure. Warren has an intelligence and wit similar to Joss Whedon. You become invested in the characters' lives and truly care about them. There's nothing else like it in the comics world and Emp herself is a hero worth rooting for in every way. Plus she's a Goddess who gets well bound and even more well-gagged every few pages. So basically bliss for me. For anyone who has never read it, do yourself a favor. It's not a matter of "if" they'll ever film it, but "when". Simply The Best. |

Wednesday June 14 19:58:51 2017 Re: Empowered |
Emilia Clarke. Got the bootay we can all vouch for that :). Terror Among Us remake would be high on all our wish lists. How about all the girls from Pretty Little Liars(for having to sit through that tedious tease of a show for scant reward). Duct or microfoam wrap around gags would be good in a remake too, though you can't beat the super-tight cleave |
Wednesday June 14 20:47:03 2017 Re: Empowered |
Hailee Steinfeld as Ninjette. Hailee as anything really. She got a fluffy-toy thing stuffed in her mouth in that Civil War home invasion film she did couple of years back but she needs a proper gag. Extra wide tape or tight cleave. She should have a long career so plenty of time... |

If anyone here watchea wwe, Alexa Bliss would be perfect too. The whole womens division in wwe with just a couple of exceptions needs f/t scenes. |

If I had Trump-style wealth I'd singlehandedly bankroll an Empowered tv series as my gift to posterity. Like Silvio Berlusconi did with the 80's Italian series Valentina, which was a bondage fest with the delicious Demetra Hampton and her cute bob haircut. |

Wednesday June 14 22:49:30 2017 Re: Empowered |
Alexa Bliss certainly has the right look whether she'd have the acting chops? She definitely needs a F/T scene in something, even if appearing on a commercial site like Fmconcepts. Beautiful girl |
Wednesday June 14 23:35:48 2017 La Querida del Centauro 2 |
Since some previous episodes Ludwika Paleta had been tied up hands or hands sideways in a bed, she is not kidnapped, but they give attacks by a mental illness and her friends decided to tie her to a bed, she was now gagged cleave. |

Wednesday June 14 23:43:59 2017 Re: soaps |
After years of inaction, it finally might be worth keeping an eye on "The Bold and the Beautiful" again because this week super-villainess Sheila Carter played by Kimberlin Brown made a surprise return. No idea if anything of interest will happen as spoilers are sparse (they didn't even spoil her return), but the character is responsible for many bound and gagged damsels over the years. Her most likely targets this go around would be Heather Tom or Rena Sofer, or perhaps Kimberlin herself if she is being set up for the dangerous goings on (a sniper has been gunning for Rena Sofer's character). |
