Wednesday May 10 06:15:25 2017 Realistic chloroform |
Anyone can recommend a good and realistic chloroform scene? (a damsel doesn't fall asleep easily). Thanks. |
Wednesday May 10 06:55:08 2017 Inside the mind of a damsel |
I would like some recommendations for scenes where we can hear a bound and gagged damsel's thoughts via voice-over. It's so corny, and I love it. I've seen it happen mainly in soap operas, telenovelas etc. |
Wednesday May 10 10:40:39 2017 Hounds Of Love & Killing Ground |
Both of these Aussie potential Damsel Fests are having multiple festival screenings in many countries and I think Hounds of Love has its Australian release date this month so if any contributor to Brian's Page has seen either feel free to post a database entry description or let us know in this discussion area what we can expect. Pics would be great too. Both films could be up there for scenes of the year |

According to the official 3M site http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_EU/Medical_Tapes_EU/home/history/ Microfoam tape wasn't developed for the medical industry until 1976, so anything that might look like it before then wasn't really actual Microfoam tape. |

Wednesday May 10 16:33:13 2017 Urinetown Interview |
JA: What was your favorite scene to act out? CCM: I love Act 2 — the whole beginning of Act 2, when I don’t do anything at all — being tied to the chair and gagged, because you feel like, as an actress, there’s so little you can be doing, but you get to figure out these little things, like facial expressions you can make. That was by far the most fun, and then they lifted me in a chair, which is crazy! It’s such a little event in the show, but it was so much fun! |

Title: Days Of Our Lives Medium: Soap Opera Actress: Molly Burnett Description: Aired July 12-13, 2012. Took forever to bring her down. I actually started to like chloroform scenes after that. |

Microfoam tape developed in 1976 sounds about right. That Girl scene with Marlo obviously white elastoplast you can clearly see how thick it is when it's being applied to her face. The "Thriller" ep Kill Two Birds is absolutely microfoam though -that ep was aired in 1976 so could very well be the first ever on-screen usage. Progressive director :). King Cinder was '77 so that's possible too be good to see the full scene one day |

I think it didn't "work out" for her but it's been quite a while |

See Danger Theatre: Thriller: "Kill Two Birds" - excellent pics of Rita Giovannini sporting a form-fitting tape gag and looking completely beautiful. Has to be microfoam tape no other tape has that rubbery look to it :) |

Needless to say, when filming resumed, she really was much distressed -- but said that it added to the "realism" of the scene... Samantha Dark was her (stage) name, as I recall. |

Interesting quote from a 2016 interview --------------------------------------------- Is keeping your lead actress gagged for the first two episodes a bold choice? I don’t know if it’s a bold choice, but it’s easier to write, that’s for sure. |

Here's to hoping Eliza Taylor gets duct tape on her mouth at some point on the show, she's long overdue. |

Wednesday May 10 23:30:56 2017 Second Handmaid's Tale scene? |
I read somewhere that episode 5 ends with Ofglen (Bledel) being captured and thrown in a van. So it's possible that she will be B&G in the next one. |
