I've seen clips of the animated series, and like the fact that Harley Quinn wears booty shorts. She is supposedly an empowered female, but is bound and gagged fairly often in her comic series. | About a month ago there was a trailer for a new movie about a forced marriage and the girl was bound and gagged by I think her parents. It was discussed here and there was a future premier date mentioned and a preview but since then I haven't seen anything here or on the LMN site. Does anyone remember this and know the name for the movie or televised date? Thanks. |

| Corinna Laszlo's scene in Natural Born Killers comes to mind. I find this to be such a disturbing and perverse scene. I guess it's just the overall nature and atmosphere of the scene and the randomness of it. She's kidnapped and taken hostage offscreen by Mickey and Mallory, and her fate afterwards is left open but surely nothing good awaited her. It's worse in the Director's Cut with the brief but still disturbing inclusion of her rape scene and I read somewhere apparently the scene was actually longer and included a moment where her tongue is ripped out. It's strange how for all of NBK's over the top violence, some of which borders on being cartoony, it has this one extremely disturbing and creepy moment that for me is among the most disturbing film scenes ever. I say this as someone who's watched a lot of extreme gore and violence in films, and yet none of them have the impact this brief moment in NBK does for me. |

| Today I found that there was a small problem with registering to add scenes to the database. Basically, if, while registering, the person had a space at the end of the User ID, it would prevent the completion of registration because of a mismatch later. Looking back through the registration list, this had happened five times before. Unfortunately, none of those people contacted me about it. Thanks to Harty Mopkirk for reporting the problem, which is now probably fixed although I'll need to do some testing. As a reminder, if you try to register and it doesn't complete, use the Contact form to alert me. Give full details on where you ended up in the process. I try to explain what's going on in the forms. As a recap, this is a fairly standard multi-stage registration like you see for many forums and such. Basically it's to validate the email address. So it goes through these steps: 1. Enter your log in details and email address. 2. Receive an email with a link to click to complete. 3. Get a message that confirms your registration. A number of people never complete, which I think is because they don't see the email. This is auto-generated by the code, so it's sent immediately and should get to you within a few minutes to at most an hour or so. I imagine that it ends up in the Junk folder for many and they never think to look there and just give up. Or they made a typo in the email address or didn't pay attention to the instructions and gave a fake one. As a note, there is one person who reported not being able to log in after completing registration. I am still investigating that. If anyone else experienced something along those line, again let me know. I can't fix problems I'm not aware of. |
