Studios are holding what little unseen stock they have left for when the theaters reopen, and the new TV season, which may or may not be in the fall. The only US soap left with unseen episodes is Days of Our Lives, and networks are filling their schedules with whatever cheap reality junk they can find. We may have to deal with a scene drought for the rest of the year. |

Production on basically everything is shut down - the unfortunate reality is that as long as COVID-19 is in play, there's going to be a scene drought since physical distancing is impossible on-set. |
