| Emma Stone confirmed for Yorgos Lanthimos next, which is the remake of a Korean film with a confirmed FT scene. “Bugonia” follows two conspiracy-obsessed young men who kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth. |

| Hope you're right. I thought it was based on a Korean film where a guy and his wife kidnap a male CEO. So I thought Emma was playing one of the kidnappers, not the kidnapee. So I sincerely hope I'm wrong. Don't forget Emma is also in Yorgos' upcoming film Kinds of Kindness...not saying she'll get a scene in that but Yorgos usually throws a f/t scene in most of his films... |

| Sorry Man but the original poster is correct! Looks like they're inverting the original film's plot to make Emma the kidnap victim. Excellent! So we can expect tape gags galore for Emma presumably !!! |

| Don't know if this has been mentioned but there is a scene for Kathrine Barnes in the thriller Faceless After Dark. At 1hr7min she wakes up wrap gagged, wrapped in a blanket and bound on a chair wearing a clown make up. Bad end, she is burned alive after 2mins but thankfully we see hear her sceams. | This is huge news! I read they were re-making this Korean film months ago and I too naturally assumed Emma was playing the kidnappers girlfriend/accomplice. Have read all the reports on Variety etc today and they all specifically state that the kidnappers are two male conspiracy theorists and the CEO is "she". Has to be Emma as the CEO. This could be Emma's "Alice Creed" film; her character will be held captive throughout. Should be tapegags featured and if so they could be wraparounds(as in Killing Of A Sacred Deer). So...in the space of a few years Emma will have gotten the gag trifecta. She *should* be her usual red-headed self in this as well. Can't wait for production to begin I'll follow its progress intently. Very exciting! |
