Right above the entry box for the title you will see the following in red letters: New: The editing team has identified a number of standard tags that you can add to entries. See the link below and follow the instructions in there. Do not make your own tags! If you have suggestions for additions post to Database Corrections. There will new features in the future to automate tag addition. Tag List |

I compose lots of database entries (I just usually don't mention it here) and have never used tags...like you, I don't recall seeing where I was prompted to do so. Now, I know what the tags are of course, and I see them on other entries ("Tag: hands in front; blindfold; tape gag; barefoot...", etc.) but I've never used them myself and as I said, don't recall where in the entering process tags are asked for. I guess I will look closer next time I make an entry! |

NCIS is a franchise with multiple series, every year there was a crossover involving all the series, the cliffhanger could be recovered in one of the other series. There is no specific prompt for tags at the moment (though the Engineer states above that he may change that). There is no requirement to use them, but if you are composing entries you can enter any that you think apply at the end of the description box. Just enter "Tags:", followed by any entries in the list which you think would aid in searching the database. |

In this case, likely more nothing for Vanessa anyways. Next season opens with the daughter missing and the bad guy forcing Jane to use her cop credentials to help him with some plot, only to get busted in the end, with the daughter found in some hideout, possibly gagged but who cares. It would have been infuriating if the guy was planning to kidnap Jane, similar to the cliffhanger in Law and Order where Mariska was finally B&G in the season opener the next season. But doesn't look like that was happening here. |

I've read them and used them to help me determine whether a movie or television episode will be worth watching. It just didn't occur to me to include them, as they are not yet mandatory. I'll definitely include them in the future. |

| Really long shot here on General Hospital but a slight possibility. For reasons too complicated to get into here (if you don't watch the show), but former mob boss Ava is temporarily living with current mob boss Sonny for practical reasons (to protect their daughter) and it seems she has developed some feelings for him (which at one point looked slightly reciprocated). Sonny is bipolar & does weird things when he's off his meds. Some rivals trying to bring Sonny down have seen to it that his medication dosage was cut by 75% (to make him go batty & make bad decisions & become an easy target for takeover), and Ava has stumbled onto this info but not told Sonny (cuz she kinda likes him not in full control). Confused? Anyway, Natalia (the eternally uber-hot Eva LaRue!), the mom of Sonny's daughter Kristina's girlfriend Blaze, has entered the picture & it looks like she & Sonny are mutually interested and are getting closer, much to Ava's dismay & anger. Lots of dirty, psycho-ish glares when Sonny & Natalia are together, etc. Given Ava's history for crazy behavior (including murder, kidnapping, and other such offenses), it's JUST possible at some point she may try to get Natalia out of the picture and kidnap her, maybe with some rope & gag involved. As I said...a long shot but whenever you mix crime, jealousy, the "a woman scorned" scenario, and a hot perceived rival female entering the picture, there's always the possibility for some peril. |
