| Apparently Tom Cruise and Scarlett Johansson are slated to star in a remake of the '77 Clint Eastwood/Sondra Locke action extravaganza. Interesting to see if they keep the stuff gag scene from the original film, replace it with tape or cleave, or scrap the scene altogether... |

| CBS announced its fall schedule and notable cancellation was NCIS: Hawaii, tossed to the sharks, and well-deserved, IMO. I'd think the odds of anything happening at this point were slim to none anyways. The last episode airs Monday. Only notable new show I see is Sheriff Country. Morena Baccarin stars as straight-shooting sheriff Mickey Fox who investigates criminal activity as she patrols the streets of small-town Edgewater while contending with her ex-con father and a mysterious incident involving her wayward daughter. Possible Morena could be in the line of fire or the daughter. All the FBIs are back, and SWAT was saved for another season after they said this season would be its last. And Blue Bloods is back for its final season, I think this if the 5th straight year Blue Bloods is back for a "final" season. |

NCIS Sydney the short haired need a good scene for sure and Katrina Law is way overdue. but NCIS hm i dont still have hope to see one of the main gagged. More likley a new one in SWAT. the scene with the main girl was good but just blink and u miss it. lets hope the best |

This fall, NCIS Hawaii was replaced by NCIS Origins, set in the 1990s following younger Gibbs with Mariel Molino from The Watchful Eye as the lead girl. CBS has a modern day Sherlock Holmes universe series called Watson which follows the good doctor after Moriarty kills Sherlock that is due after the NFL season ends on Sundays, but they haven't announced any of the women in the cast yet. Their streaming site ordered another new NCIS series following Cote de Pablo's character. The final season of Evil starts this month, and they have a second season of their Criminal Minds continuation coming this year. |

Very surprised to see SWAT back and NCIS Hawaii cancelled. I'd imagine LL Cool J and to a lesser extent Vanessa Lachey made a boat load of money. No one else on that show would command much. CBS used the financial excuse for the cancellation. Blue Bloods will only be back for the Fall to "properly end the series". Maybe NCIS Hawaii is given the Fall as well depending on the schedule shakes out. |

I was surprised it was on the fence because the ratings are decent, but they also have a cushy time slot. And as you said, the main cast, even Vanessa, are pretty bad actors. I mean has Vanessa acted in anything prior to this? And when they were desperate to add Cool J to the cast as a savior you knew the network brass was not happy with the current cast. |
