| Can anyone ID this movie (possibly direct to DVD)? It's at least 12 years old. From what I can remember about it, she's kidnapped by two men about her age who were traumatized by a school fire that tragically killed a number of children. Then this one appeared out of nowhere, with no DID premise at all, and it not basically no attention. Guessing because Jen didn't even look that good here as they made her character up to be not so attractive. |

| I know this will only be allowed as a one time post for informational purposes. But here is the rundown for Season 20 of the German series The Peppercorns. The 14-episode season drops May 11, possible all online but not sure. They are running two episodes each Saturday for 7 weeks on German TV. There are two confirmed FT scenes for two of the three female leads. Melody Rose gets cleave-gagged in Episode 5 and Sophia Grande gets cleave-gagged in Episode 14. Sophia's scene is shown in a behind the scenes clip now posted on the Instagram page. The third female lead Charlotte Farhardi had a FT scene last year and could be in peril based on storylines in a couple specific episodes this season. This is the final season for this cast, and a new cast starts a 2-year run next season. |

The 4 current telenovelas all have murderers as their main villains, and 2 are based on Portuguese telenovelas that eventually had their lead heroine get full treatments, so I'm optimistic there will be some peril eventually, but maybe not until the final episodes. (And unfortunately, Portuguese novelas run 300 episodes and Mexican novelas run 100 episodes, so they can't be close remakes.) Tu vida es mi vida is in ultimas semanas, so it ends in a few weeks. The other 3 end in summer. The Vix original series have all been comedies this year. I don't think they produced any scenes of interest. Angie Boyer stars in a reincarnation telenovela remake that premieres in May. They'll be announcing what other new series they are producing for their streaming platform at Televisa/Univision's network upfronts in a couple weeks. |
