Monday June 17 01:22:42 2024 I asked AI this... Exhaustive List (as possible) of Female Comic Book Characters Weakened by Gags |
Exhaustive List (as possible) of Female Comic Book Characters Weakened by Gags This list strives to be comprehensive, but the vastness of comics makes it impossible to guarantee all characters are included. It focuses on characters whose primary offensive abilities are significantly weakened or negated by being gagged. Vocal Attacks: Black Canary (DC Comics): Sonic Canary Cry Banshee (Marvel Comics): Sonic Screams Sonya (Inhumans): Vocal manipulation for soundwaves (offensive and defensive) Moaning (Image Comics): Powerful sonic blasts Screech (Marvel Comics): High-pitched sonic scream Shriek (Marvel Comics): Sonic scream with emotional and physical harm Agony (Marvel Comics) - Fearsome Four: Excruciating screams Sonic Manipulation: Cecilia Reyes (Marvel Comics): Creates force fields and manipulates soundwaves Emotional Manipulation (Vocal): Sersi (Marvel Comics): Uses voice to manipulate emotions (calm or rage) Silver Banshee (DC Comics): Emotional manipulation through wailing cries Siren (Marvel Comics) (Some versions): Singing or vocal hypnosis Magic (Vocal): Zatanna (DC Comics): Spells cast by speaking backward Magik (Marvel Comics): Teleportation with a specific command word (though magic is a complex power) Limited Vocal Dependence: Echo (Marvel Comics): Mimics sounds (including screams) but other powers remain Mockingbird (Marvel Comics): Mimics sounds (limited offensive use) Uncertainties (Voice Might Play a Role): Selene (Marvel Comics): Psionically manipulates shadows with voice (unclear necessity) Proxima Midnight (Marvel Comics): Voice manipulation for mind control (unclear extent) Pushing the Limits: Blind Faith (Marvel Comics): Creates illusions by speaking a person's true name (indirect vocal dependence) Important Considerations: This list prioritizes characters whose primary offensive abilities are directly tied to their voice. Some characters might have secondary vocal abilities or limitations to their powers. This list isn't exhaustive and there could be more characters, especially from lesser-known publishers. The nature of powers can vary; being gagged might not completely nullify an ability. Additional Notes: This list focuses on established comic book characters and avoids obscure or parody characters. Telepathic characters who might use vocal cues to focus their powers aren't included unless their primary offensive ability relies directly on spoken words. I hope this exhaustive list provides a good overview of female comic book characters potentially weakened by being gagged. Remember, the world of comics is ever-expanding, and new heroes with unique abilities are constantly being created! |

Your exhaustive list now begs the question: how often are these female comic book characters bound and gagged? |

Anyone can remind the name of this scene? It's from a short movie that used to be online, but I don't remember the name https://imgur.com/a/oQ6ohvS |

She is also one of us Tehe and was very disappointed they didn’t do what the book had. She was to be very clearly tied and gagged in the same room as the “deed” happens and watches the whole thing…also I believe a servant was also be be tied and gagged with Alicent as well. They really screwed us on this |

In my opinion it is a stupider and less dramatic scene than in the book. Probably the screenwriters chose to side with the Blacks and could not make them guilty of such a heinous crime. It is certainly not bondage censorship in the name of political correctness, given what Alicent does |

What was supposed to be the most important scene of the entire season, extremely dramatic, with Helaena forced to choose between one of her sons and Alicent forced to witness the trauma that drives her daughter to madness becomes a silly scene (we can't kill Aemond, let's kill the little prince) with the sexist conclusion of Alicent [f-ing] Ser Criston. |

From Sweden, Dilan Gwyn is in the upcoming Beck season 11 episode The Invisible Man and the 1990s era crime drama Maffia, and the young fantasy Christmas series, The Crown Prince and Return of the Tyrant. My insider already seen the episode video previews of Maffia from the distribution channel & unfortunately the majority of the series is a putz fest. However, The Crown Prince sequel does have more DID moments near the middle act. |
