| Last week on this Univision (9:00 pm central time) there was an alert for a scene with Tania Niebla tied to a chair & cleave gagged. I just last nite got around to watching it and what wasn't mentioned was that at the end of the episode there was another scene, this time of Adriana Deangelis tied to a chair & cleave gagged in a storeroom, at around the 55-minute mark. The baddie comes in and threatens her with a hammer and we see him raise it and strike something, screen fades to black. I assumed she was dead. Well, I"ve been recording it ever since, as it just has that "look" of a bondagefest...seems to be more of a cop crime show than a typical soap opera drama. Every episode so far has shootings, killings, chases, damsels grabbed (no more tied though), all the potential. Well tonite it panned out again. Surprisingly, at around the 15 minute mark we see Adriana Deangelis again (who hasn't been seen in around a week) handcuffed to a railing on a stairway & still cleave gagged, with a bruised & bloody hand (apparently the baddie just smashed up her hand as some message to her hubby, who seems to be a drug lord or a head of some organization..I don't know Spanish). She is ungagged & uncuffed pretty quickly but at least it wrapped up her earlier peril. Then at around the 50-minute mark yet another damsel (don't know the actress but I think her character name is "Delores") is grabbed while getting into her car. A few seconds later (the very next scene) we see her lying on the floor, just her ankles, crossed & tied (with high heeled sandals for those into feet). The camera does a very slow pan up her body...we see her wrists tied in front ("Boo!", I know) and finally to her face, she's cleave gagged with a brown cloth. The baddie is seen in the background & comes over & taunts her for a few moments (not untying or ungagging her), then the scene ends. Nothing more is seen of her till episode's end (only about 4 minutes remained). I imagine the scene will continue...maybe not tomorrow (you know how soaps are) but I'm sure in the next few episodes, as I think there are only a few more left in the season. Definitely a show to keep an eye on...this is it's third season, wish I"d watched it earlier. Most of the good soaps seem to end up on Telemundo (which I don't get)...Univision is kinda dry as a rule. |

| I agree, they are all high quality too than lots of US shows these days. I love these crime shows/soap opera(what a match lol) |

I wanted to say that it was right to choose an OTM compared to the usual tapes that are neutralized so as not to hurt the actresses. In Northern European productions they often use effective gags that do not harm actresses (cleave + stuff, OTM + stuff, PVC film...). |

| Any scenes where the damsel gets captured and immediately in the next scene we see her she is trussed up and gagged? (For example Thandie Newtons scene in Wedtworld where her group gets captured and in the next cut she is seen gagged and bound) |

Didn't Naomi Watts request to be gagged as securely as possible, with multiple strips of duct tape over her mouth, in the disturbing thriller Funny Games? She wanted the scenes in which she was bound and gagged to be as realistic as possible. I wonder whether she asked that protective backing not be placed underneath her duct tape gag? |

When "Delores" is grabbed & tossed in the car, it drives off and the very next shot shows her tied & gagged on the floor. |
