The Hallmark website now shows "<b>Sunday May 17 9:00 PM / 8:00c</b>" as the air date. I'm pretty sure this is, in fact, a change. I had it in my DVR's record queue and now it's gone. Of all the Hallmark mystery series, is this the first full treatment for a lead or co-lead in any of the movies, probably 50-plus movies? I only recall 2 scenes in these movies, the guest stars in one of the Kellie Martin movies and a guest in one of the Gourmet Detective movies. |

While the aforementioned scene with Marcela Guirado in "Así en el barrio" is indeed fantastic, my favorite is Ana Turpin's scene from the Spanish-language soap opera "Geminis" (Record number 17733) The best thing about this scene is that the handgag is completely superfluous: while the villain in "Así en el barrio" applies the handgag out of necessity, the villain in "Geminis" applies the handgag out of sheer delight and has a huge smile as he does it. An all-time top 10 scene for me. |
