Tuesday March 19 09:08:19 2019 Annihilation Dvd |
Annihilation was finally released on dvd in my part of the world so have now seen the film in its entirety. Certainly a thought-provoking and beautiful-looking production, with compelling performances from a stellar cast. Can't help but think though that the scene with Natalie, Tessa and Jennifer all bound and gagged had no particular reason to be in the film. They certainly didn't need to be gagged unless the crazy lady wanted to have her rant uninterrupted by her peers. Just one of those random writer/director moments I guess. Certainly not complaining, nice tight otm's with packing? Pretty sweet. Probably be Jennifer's last DiD scene and could be Natalie's one and only(hope not). Tessa I feel will get the full again sometime, perhaps in Westworld or another film or tv series. One of those random scenes you wouldn't expect in a surrealist sci-fi drama. Serendipity indeed |

What exact problems do you see? Anyone with concerns can always raise the issue. I'm ready to discuss or explain in open forum at any time. |

Twice, he's a full-blown, cloth-chewing putz. |

I'm ready to discuss or explain in open forum at any time. Then why did you delete my original post pointing out the racist observation by Barnes that, in fact, is still there? If you deleted both it wouldn't be an issue since you can point out neither is productive or relevant to this page. Unless there's something in your FAQ that I missed. "Michonnes scene wasnt that Bad. Always Nice to See a Black one gets The gag." I get deleting political rants, yes, they don't belong here. But neither does this pathetic comment. As Pelosi stated, you're pretty selective as to what you'll leave up and what you'll delete. |

The scene happens on page 95 (PDF format). |
