These days networks pull the plug on a show if its ratings aren't through the roof by episode 4. The old days allowed shows some time to find their audience and click with the viewers. Married with Children/X Files/Baywatch are three shows that lasted 10 yrs yet if they were cancel when networks want them the would have been canceled 1st season |
