Sunday February 02 08:40:21 2014 The Candy Snatchers |
And finally, maybe an answer as to why "The Candy Snatchers" was cancelled by TCM back in November. Can you believe that anybody would be fighting over the movie's copyright 40 years after it was released? |

In light of that article, I'll try & get around to it. I never realized how loooooong it is, though...... |

He will tie you up and feed you the chili he has cooked, blowing on it before slipping the for into your mouth. If your response to that gesture is a concupiscent 'Aaahh!' and not a repulsed 'Ewwww,'you will know you've met that special someone in this, your very special movie." |

Based on the computer feed, a blonde haired woman, not Katie Cassidy will be the bound and gagged woman. Unless she's married on the show, because the male husband on the show says, "Where's my wife," as he holds a gun on the criminal. That's why the DiD is not Katie Cassidy. Maybe next time. |

Very interesting to wake up to this tidbit of info. I'll be seeing it later, as I do buy the Post everyday. Sure is interesting that some would fight over something like this. BTW, didn't really matter to me, I purchased a bootleg VHS copy years ago - (I just wanted to see the TCM showing of it... it was very possibly better video quality than the one I have). |

What is this scene from? |

The bondage runs from opening credits to closing credits, and the movie is decidedly unpleasant on top of that. What caught my interest in posting the link to the article wasn't that I really cared about TCM showing the movie, it's that I can't understand why anybody would pay lawyers to argue about the copyright after all these years. There's no way that this movie, by itself, can have much financial value. A DVD release wouldn't cover the cost of the plastic, and nobody (except us) really cares if its ever shown anyplace again. I'll be curious to see if any more information comes out to shed light on the hidden value. |

I think the song really enhanced the scene for some reason also. Too bad the video didn't get picked. |

Not a handgag fan personally for the most part but recently saw "8 heads in a duffel bag" on latenight tv, w/ a REALLY long (comedy) handgag scene for pretty Kristy Swanson. Wondering if maybe it's the longest ever? |

Wondering if maybe it's the longest ever? Interestingly, a My Name Is Earl episode called "No Heads and a Duffel Bag" had a pretty long tape gag scene for Jaime Pressly. |

Would be amazing to get it in 1080p (which should be possible since the original was shot on 35mm). |
