| I doubt if many - if any even - really care about this, but for my own mental health I wanted to write this & correct myself. The other week, I wrote about seeing a LOONG hand gag scene in the obscure horror movie SPIDER BABY. (Am 95% sure) I was mistaken in writing that CAROL OHMART was the damsel involved. Yesterday, just happened to view this movie - again - online (the whole thing IS available for viewing there), and now think it was MARY MITCHEL who received the hand gag. They both starred in this flick - Ohmart was the "bigger" name - and are both blonde, about the same age & pretty similiar in appearance. EXCEPT, after researching online, Mitchel's hair consistently had bangs, which closely matches the damsel who did get hand gagged in this flick. So, for the sake of reliability & accuracy in the DB, I am pretty sure the actress needs to be changed... (if anyone else would like to research, double check and identify for the finality of this). |

You are right that the long handgag which was already described in the DB is actually Mary Mitchel. She is playing the rather innocent Ann Morris. Carol Ohmart is playing the slutty Aunt Emily, who gets a very brief and darkly lit handgag after running through the woods in vintage 60's lingerie. I'll update the database with the corrected information, and I'll post a link to the full movie over on the video page for anybody else who would like to check out this vintage masterpiece. 3)- only kidding about 1)I love crappy old movies. |

I can confirm what it said about two tie-ups: Adele does get her hands tied behind her back (realistically, with clothesline) twice: once soon after Frank arrives at their home and toward the end when the cops close in on him (to absolve her of any complicity by showing that she was held hostage). While fairly short (with no struggling by her nor any gag), the bondage fit pretty well into the storyline (from a novel written by a woman, and from a definite female perspective). |
